Beautiful house on 10 acre private lake stocked with bass, 4.5 miles from Boerne

  • Come enjoy a relaxing stay at the Masters Lake Cottage in the Texas Hill Country just minutes from Boerne. This beautiful house sits on 257 acres. Right out your back door is a private 10 acre lake stocked with bass for catch and release fishing. An additional 6 acre lake starts about 1000 feet below the dam. It also offers great bass fishing. If you like to hike, you will find miles of trails for exploring. There is plenty of wildlife to enjoy, including: whitetail and axis deer, bison, turkey, ducks and a variety of birds.

    The house has a fully equipped kitchen,living area with a wood burning fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a study and a large media room with a giant projection TV screen. There is a full size, laundry room next to the kitchen, and a huge outdoor fireplace right out the master bedroom door as well as an outdoor fire pit down towards the lake.

    The Masters property is gated for maximum privacy, but is walking distance from Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort which offers fine dining, golf and spa services. You will also find yourself just 5 miles from shopping and dining in historic downtown Boerne.

    The smaller Masters Lake Cabin is also located on the property and is available if more space is needed.

Rural but convenient

We had a great family vacation and loved the rural location yet convenience to surrounding activities and sightseeing. It worked out great for our activities in San Antonio, Gruene and Fredericksburg among others.

Amazing property

The house is beautifully decorated, the grounds are amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. From the amazing lake, fire pit, porch, fishing and wildlife sightings, we couldn’t ask for more.

Great TX Hill Country Getaway!

Everything was perfect at this hill country home. Beautiful views, great communication with the property manager and the house was clean and well stocked. Our family would definitely stay again!

Great House on Lake

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very well maintained. There were some many deer and bison, amazing. We will stay there again the next time we come to see our grandkids.

Spring Break Family Trip

This place was a great place to"get away" from the hustle and bustle of life. You can relax outdoors and indoors. The property was vast and we could fish and hike to see the exotic animals. We all had a great time!

Texan Oasis

This secluded incredibly beautiful ranch with its own lakes, streams and expansive home is a true vacation treasure. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property, sitting by the campfire, watching the wildlife, movie nights in the TV theater room, doing crafts together on the large kitchen island, and driving through the hill country. This was our second stay, and we'll definitely be back!

Relaxing hill country week

This was the second time that we have stayed at this amazing property! Both times it has been absolutely perfect! The lake and surrounding ranch are beautiful! Plenty of wildlife and the buffalo make it feel like a true escape. Richard has always been a gracious host and a pleasure to deal with. Can’t wait to come back to this serene sanctuary!

Beautiful place

It was a beautiful property far enough away from any traffic but close enough to convenience surrounded by the hills and scenery. We were lucky to wake up and see buffalo roam close to the house from our bedroom and porch areas as well as huge herds of access dear.

Family Thanksgiving

Three generations of our family gathered here for Thanksgiving and this place is perfect inside and outside. Beautifully appointed and well maintained. There were no complaints or problems. In fact, my wife and I look forward to staying here again in the spring.

Texas Hill Country Beauty

An ideal secluded spot for rest and relaxation. This property is full of natural beauty with panoramic views of hill country and wildlife. Shaded areas for outside seating and a beautifully decorated home with lots of room to relax with family. The property manager was easily accessible and accommodated all of our needs. We had a wonderful time and hope to return.

Annual Family Vacation

Our family booked both the Masters Cottage and Cabin for the second time for an annual family trip. We were blown away once again by this place’s beauty and charm. We spent 4 days here enjoying the scenery, wildlife, fishing, and family time. Both homes have everything you need plus more! Each family member gave it 5 stars. We will definitely be back for our annual trip and likely others trips.

Slice of Heaven

The perfect get-away

He loves to fish. She loves to read. They want to be out of the city. They want to drive few minutes to stroll and shop. This is the place to be.

Amazing property

My 3 grown boys myself and my youngest son’s girlfriend stayed in this property. The views are breathtaking and the property is very beautiful. The ponds, the beautiful trees and large amount of acres are so amazing and we enjoyed every minute of exploring. The house is so pretty with stone walls and plenty of space. The kitchen is large with lots of supplies. We couldn’t be happier and had a wonderful stay. We will definitely be booking again.
