This was a beautiful home. If you read some of the other ratings they mention it’s not in the greatest neighborhood. This is true but I stayed here with my wife and two young kids and had absolutely no trouble. A great property over all. 7.5/10 in my opinion

We really appreciate that the house was cool and ceiling fans were on when we arrived. We came from a cooler climate and San Antonio is hotter than what we are used to. The rooms were clean and the host was attentive to our requests.

Family vacation

We came to stay for a long weekend on a family vacation with young kids. Our son loved the arcade machine and foosball table , and the location within San Antonio made getting around easy!! The property was lovely and well renovated but could use some love. There were some water cracks on the ceiling and wear and tear was evident throughout.

Short trip but great stay

We had our annual family trip to San Antonio and this location fit our family of 9 perfectly. The rooms were a good size and the location was close to everything we wanted to visit. We would love to stay here again onournext visit.

Beautiful Historical Home

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Home is completely remodeled and well maintained. We travel a lot, I must say this home was well stocked with extra essentials that most would forget. Kitchen was well equipped, propane grill and fire pit worked perfectly! Would highly recommend and our family will book again!

Awesome host, house, and amenities!

EASIEST CHECK IN I have had yet. A great value and a fun place to stay. The backyard was nice to relax, and the arcade games A+! The rooms were huge and beds comfortable. The kitchen/dining/ living is a big open space, perfect for just about anything. The area is close to everything, we uber'd a lot, but we could have walked. The neighborhood is being revitalized (so 4 stars and really just a heads up), but ultimately it was quiet and we had no issues.

Perfect House for Groups

We rented this house for a buddy trip. It was a perfect house—lots of room and great amenities. We were able to walk to the Alamo Beer Company, the River Walk, and The Pearl. Perfect place, and the property managers were great to work with.

Beautiful inside!

We were a group of five that stayed one night for a quick weekend girls trip. The inside of the house was beautiful, clean and there was plenty of room for all of us. When we arrived the house was a bit warm and we notified Lucas and within hours he had someone come, check it out and got it taken care of within hours. I gave only 3 stars for the location, but only because we wanted something close enough to walk to and from the Riverwalk, however the neighborhood is clearly going through some changes and we decided it was safer to Uber in stead. The Uber ride was about 5 minutes, cheap and convenient. We would definatley stay again!

Excellent location for downtown events

We loved staying at 521 Hays. The property host, Lucas, was very responsive. We had a slight A/C issue which he had fixed same afternoon. We got to the Alamodome in less than 8 minutes, which was AWESOME. We loved the open floor plan of the house and how all doors opened to the great room. Really generous sized bedrooms.

Genuinely such a great stay. Gorgeous home with beautiful open floor plan. Check in and check out was super easy, communication with host was fast & efficient, and had everything we could possibly need from spices to shampoo. Absolutely would stay again!

Perfect overnight near downtown

The Hayes house was larger than expected, and met our needs as a group of friends in every way. It’s an easy Uber to downtown SA. The house was clean with comfy beds and plenty of towels. It could use a couple more wine glasses and some hot pads, but our time there was extremely enjoyable!

Nice place

Just a few blocks from downtown attractions. Very convenient and accommodating. The entire house has been renovated and has a great feel to it. The beds are firm but comfortable.
