"We loved our stay at the Parsonage Farm Stables. The location is in the Exmoor National Park. The views out over the Bristol Channel towards Wales are very beautiful. The cottage itself is authentic and quirky and well equipped. You can start many walks from the doorstep, the south west coastpath is a stones throw away. And so is the rest of Exmoor. Moors or sea, you are spoiled for choice. It is very quiet, no traffic. We felt welcome and the host replies very quick when you have questions....

"Found this lovely property on line and it’s a truly lovely place, it’s quite secluded but had easy access to Taunton, the gardens were really lovely and the place was very clean and comfy, I can recommend staying here, the only negative would be the lack of Netflix"

"We had a lovely stay at the Lower Spires. The cottages were pleasant to stay in. They were clean, and fully equipped. The garden was beautiful and perfect for our dogs to run around and play. The area was also very beautiful. It was very quiet but there were plenty of things to do. The information we received from James in advance was very useful. we had a wonderful time in the Lower Spires and if we return to Exmoor we will certainly book the cottages again!"

"The property was much better than expected, very clean and comfortable, everything you could possibly need available and good location. My only personal bug bear would be the towels were not very generous in size but they did the job! Would definitely recommend and would stay again."

"As I find stairs difficult with luggage, and no lift, staff were helpful and changed my room from 1st floor to ground. Staff were pleasant but bar service could be improved. The waiter was covering the kitchen and bar. He walked past me twice, while I stood at the bar, but I still had to open the door to the kitchen, and call, I had to ask for ice and lemon, but didn't get the lemon, it didn't seem available. Just small things really but could be improved. "
