I would consider this rental "excellent" instead of "stellar."The kitchen was very well stocked and very clean. The beds were all comfortable, with lots of extra blankets. We didn't get to use the kayaks, as it was too windy and choppy the days we were there, but it was nice to know they were available. There were a few bottles of water stocked in the mini fridge and lots of spices, etc in the kitchen.The walk to the beach was longer than we expected and would have been impossible if we did not have a wagon borrowed from a friend. Some of the furniture was starting to look slightly dingy and in need of a deep clean. The deck furniture was excellent and comfortable, but I would recommend taking out the cloth pillows/cushions as they were getting mildewy.The biggest cleaning issue was that the rug in the living room looked as if it had not been vacuumed -- there were clumps of what we assumed was dog fur on it. The only major problem affecting the comfort of our stay was the sliding glass door in the main bedroom. The seal is not tight and the wind blowing into that tiny crack was incredibly loud and annoying. We finally figured out to stuff a bunch of plastic bags in the crack. That solved it for our stay, but made it impractical to use that door and it really needs to be repaired.We would definitely consider staying in this rental again and recommend it to others if we wanted to be on the sound side of the island!
