A spacious 2 bedroom property

  • This spacious 2 bedroom holiday cottage is set within the well-manicured private grounds of Crylla Valley Cottages which includes 18 acres of lawns, flower gardens and woodlands to explore.

    The natural stone frontage, beamed ceilings, furnishings and fabrics combine to create that ‘homely’ feeling. Laminate flooring is fitted throughout the ground floor presenting a large open plan living area perfect for enjoying your holiday time together.

    A good size flat screen Television with Freeview and DVD player is provided, as is a washer/dryer, double oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board and a full complement of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

    This versatile cottage can offer a number of comfortable sleeping arrangements; its Master bedroom has a King size bed, the second bedroom is set as a twin room which can be requested as a Super-King double making the accommodation a great choice for two couples. For extra capacity the open plan lounge offers the option of a 4ft sofa bed (suitable for maximum 2 children up to 12 years of age), alternatively a travel cot or chair bed (for a child up to 6 years of age) can be provided in either bedroom if required. Maximum occupancy is for a total of 5 people including infants.

    Outside there is a private patio area with patio furniture. A Gas BBQ is provided for the summer months (gas can be hired for a small charge)

    Crylla Valley Cottages proudly partners with China Fleet Golf & Country Club to offer our guests fantastic free leisure facilities for the duration of their stay at our self-catering holiday cottages with Ash Cottage having an entitlement of 2 Adult and 3 Child passes (5 to 17 years old, under 5's do not require a pass. Additional adult day entry can be purchased directly at the club)

    Enjoy unlimited use of the Swimming Pool, Wet Spa, Racquet Sports, Gym, Exercise classes and Children's Fun Zone. As members you may also be entitled to various discounts on food & drink, Spa Treatments & Golfing at the Club.

    The club is less than 4 miles from Crylla Valley, a short drive in the car of approximately 10 minutes and very easy to find.

Fabulous trip to Notter Bridge

4 generations of family to accomodate, Crylla Houses had it covered. Fabulous house with all facilities; great open space for outdoor fun; playground; games and books to borrow and an internet room. We had a great stay with the brilliant added bonus of gym, swim and spa access at China Fleet. Will definately be back...

Fantastic!

lovely big cottage, really clean and attention to detail was amazing. We had a 1 year old with us and she was well cared for with things like stair gate, lovely clean high chair, such soft towels, and the little play area was perfect for her. Beautiful surrounding area too, loved seeing the rabbits each morning from our lounge window.

A week wasn't long enough

Lovely clean, comfortable, well equipped cottage, plenty of space for all of us (family group of 8). Only thing lacking was somewhere to hang a towel in upstairs bathrooms! The beds are comfy, there is plenty of kitchen equipment, rooms are spacious and there's loads of storage space. Crylla Valley staff were very friendly and helpful, site well maintained and clean throughout, easy to find but tucked away in a beautiful setting and although A38 traffic can be heard at busy times it's only when outside, it didn't affect us at all. Thoroughly recommend the China Fleet Country Club too, the complimentary membership was a huge bonus, again very clean, friendly and well run, our party loved the pool, gym, sauna and spa. (so much that we're now looking for somewhere similar local to us to join!) The restaurants were reasonably priced, especially with members discount and the food decent. We visited the 'giant garden centre' (Eden project!), where we learned a lot (and spent a lot! - food there was the best meal out we had though), also Woodlands theme park, definitely get there early as loads to do, good value and great fun! (take spare clothing if you are going on the water chutes!!) The area was great for wildlife and hiking, so many gorgeous beaches, loved Bigbury and Salcombe, can't wait to go back and explore more.

A short break to welcome in the New Year 2016

Our party of 7 Adults & 2 Children arrived at 6pm on 31st December. After unpacking our cases we relaxed, had drinks, food and played some games. It was very comfortable and pleasantly warm for December. On the strike of 12 we all went outside to see in the new year where a fantastic firework display was going on arranged by other guests. Whilst we were celebrating our Daugher's partner got down on one knee and proposed. Champagne was popping and we raised a glass to the happy couple. On New Year's Day we all went to the China Fleet Country Club. Wow what a fantastc place and with our passes provided with the accommodation we all had a swim and the adults used the sauna and solarium facilties. We used the club on both days and our Grandchildren 3yrs and 5 months loved every minute. On our last day we all went and did the woodland walk, it's steep in places but a great way to see some amazing views from the top of the meadow. It was raining so be careful as it was very muddy under foot. We ate at the local pub The Notterbridge Inn approximately 5 minutes walk from the cotrage on our last night and having read Tripadvisor with some negative comments we were very impressed with both the service and food. We did book because it does get very busy. Overall I would rate this short stay holiday 5/5 and I and my family would defiantly recommend The Woodland Cottage, it has everything you need to have a great time. It's location and facilities are one of the best we have ever had and we've used Owner's Direct for more then 8 yrs now. Also only a short drive away from the cottage are places like Looe and Poleperro abd The Eden Project.
