Gite LA Bastide DE Salles

Nestled between forest, ocean, and Arcachon Bay, in the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park, La Bastide de Salles welcomes you to its enclosed, wooded grounds of 5,000 m². A small stream, "La Planquette," flows into the Eyre River, 1 km away, a local waterway where canoeing and kayaking are popular. The cottage is a detached house with a covered terrace, located near the owner's residence (but not overlooked). The owner will be delighted to share his passion for landscaping. The owners' 5 x 12 meter swimming pool is available for your use free of charge from May to mid-October, with a depth ranging from 1 to 2.10 meters, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The pool is covered by a pool enclosure that acts as a UV barrier, reducing the need for chlorination and maintaining an ideal water temperature from May to September. The shelter can be opened on the shutter upon request. Located on the edge of the Bazas-Arcachon cycle path, a few meters from the village center, the house comprises a main room with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room with a wood-burning stove, two bedrooms with double beds (140 cm), a shower room, and a separate toilet. Sheets, towels, kitchen linens, and end-of-stay cleaning are available for an additional fee. Electric heating with thermal inertia: heating and firewood are charged separately. Electricity consumption exceeding 8 kWh/day will be billed.
