The apartment was perfect for our family gathering, well-equipped and had a wonderful common area with a beautiful view from inside and from the balcony looking out over the ocean. The beds were great and there was plenty of room for all of us. Convenient to have two full baths with our large group.The area is wonderfully calm and quiet, especially in the evening, with the sounds of the waves accompanying us to sleep!We enjoyed long walks on the beach and even took a few dips in the water in early June! Our host Jim was very responsive regarding our questions for planning our trip and also checked in to see if everything was going well once we had arrived. All communication was timely and helpful and check in and check out was a breeze.A wonderful, relaxing stay, right on the beach!

Great Location, Delightful Stay

Three moms with teenagers and preteens stayed comfortably in this Oceanfront Penthouse. Easy access to beach and great location between jetty and boardwalk. Jim is a great host and very responsive. We would stay here again!

Beach vacation with family

The accommodations were great for us. Plan on going up a lot of stairs to the front door. The parking is tight but doable for 3 cars. The host communicates so well and we had everything we needed. Sound does travel to the downstairs neighbor, including footsteps and they do complain about it and will call the police if you or your kids are walking around after 10 pm. Despite that I would stay here again. It has great beach and town access and it was very clean and comfortable.

Gorgeous!

This is a beautiful unit with lots of space and every amenity you can think of. One of my usual pet peeves with rentals is that there are not enough hooks. This place had hooks all over! View and location were gorgeous. Place was incredibly clean. My only suggestion is to lessen the (not so bad) requirements for checkout. If I am paying a cleaning fee, I would prefer not having to take my own trash out and put the towels in the washer. Other than that, just superb!

Holiday Stay

We had a great time gathered together for the holidays. The property was extremely clean, and the view to the ocean was wonderful. The only thing I would change is more kitchen, utensils, and more seating in the living area, possibly an L-shaped sofa, so that everyone could gather comfortably.

Beautiful beachfront retreat!

Back door and deck look right out onto the surf, all the way across. At first glance, third floor walk-up seems small for 5 people, but it’s very open and well-designed. Super clean. Crowded neighborhood only down-side; best eating for us was in nearby historic Newburyport

Perfect!

The Ocean Penthouse was perfect for our group. It was a great location where we could walk to our event. Beautiful oceanfront home with plenty of room. Nice to wake up to the sun and sounds of the ocean. Jim was a gracious host and very responsive! We would definitely go back!

Birthday weekend

The property was excellent! Amazing location right on the beach. So beautiful! Very clean. Well stocked kitchen to cook meals. Towels were provided along with shampoo and conditioner. We had brought our own toiletries but it was so nice to see they were provided. The property owner was very responsive too. All in all a wonderful long weekend. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Wonderful "Sea witch" girls weekend...

It was a wonderful long weekend! The penthouse was amazing! Well stocked and beautiful. Had everything we needed and more! Beds were very comfortable. Linens perfect . I have no complaints. The stairs were a lot at times. But only when moving in... my fault i pack too much!! Jim was an amazing host. Always quick to answer my questions. It was honestly wonderful! Thank you Jim.

Lovely, comfortable penthouse condo right on the beach!

Six adults and two children (8 and 4) stayed very comfortably for the week. The condo was spacious and clean, with a well-appointed kitchen and updated bathrooms. So much was provided, including six beach chairs and a beach umbrella, which allowed us easier/lighter travel. Just plan to bring your own beach towels. Toiletries, Meyer’s cleaning supplies and sundries like toilet paper, keurig pods, hand soap and lotion etc were plentiful and much-appreciated. The beds were firm and comfortable with soft linens. Washcloths, hand and bath towels were fluffy. A large, new washer and dryer in the unit made life much easier with a group! The host was very accessible and responsive to questions. The huge star of this rental of course is the proximity to the ocean, right outside your back deck door! There are three sets of stairs to go up or down from the condo, but nothing unexpected…and it leads to a gorgeous, groomed sandy beach. It was perfect for swimming and boogie boarding (awesome waves!). The kids loved walking to find shells and sea creatures. We found three amazing live sea snails (one had to be at least a pound), a seven inch eel, and a quahog clam as big as my hand (all released back to the ocean). The only downside to our week was Salisbury’s Riverfest as there were two nights of people (not from the community) playing very loud music on the beach late into the night, keeping us awake, but that was no fault of the host. We had a great week!

Great rental on beach

Our family had an awesome stay. Exactly as advertised. Beach access from the house makes it super convenient, especially with children. Quick walk to boardwalk, and close drive to Newburyport, Portsmouth, Kittery. Great communication too. Would definitely stay again!
