We stayed here from 17th–19th April for my sister’s hen do - a group of 20, with a few extra joining us for a catered lunch on the Saturday. The location is ideal, just off the A303 but far enough away for privacy, peace and quiet.The house completely exceeded our expectations. Every room is beautifully finished and feels considered. The living spaces are thoughtfully designed, with TVs discreetly tucked away and speakers that made it easy to have music playing throughout.The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, with everything you’d need for a large group. A separate nook with extra fridge space and a dishwasher was a real bonus, and the serving hatch through to the dining room made hosting and clearing up far easier than expected.We made full use of the hot tub and tennis court, both of which were in excellent condition. We were lucky with the weather and spent a lot of time enjoying the seating areas on both sides of the house. We hired a company to host a game of Traitors and managed to do this sat outside in the sunshine.The grounds are stunning, surrounded by open countryside with horses in nearby fields. There are plenty of footpaths for walks or runs, which added to the whole experience.The host and team were fantastic throughout and collated a brilliant document of recommendations for caterers, activities and much more. Would HIGHLY recommend for a special occasion or group getaway.
