Your home was the perfect place to come back to after a long day of skiing. The teenagers went downstairs and relaxed while the adults hung out in the main living area. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook dinner every night. Your home was clean & tidy! We were able to fit a large truck in the garage, which is a rare find. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Right on the river for watching river rafters and soothing river sounds. Maybe some fishing too. Mountain views to the East. 3 walkable blocks from downtown Salida where much of the activities take place. Farmers markets, concerts, dining, and watching/doing river activities. Three levels of living (bedrooms and bathrooms), well stocked kitchen, for your cooking needs, lovely evening dining space with BBQ and patio furniture. Plenty of floor fans and room windows to help keep the unit cool as the days and evening temps are lower in the mountains. Central to many other activities in the county area. Quite unit and area, garage parking a plus. Great communication with the host for any needs you have. Easy check-in also. Would recommend to our friends and would consider staying again.

Nice home and location…spider problem

Location is great as it is right on the river! The home was nicely furnished with comfortable beds and nicely equipped kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils. The owner was very responsive before and during our stay.Our three complaints were all around cleanliness: there were multiple spiders on all 3 levels inside the home, all 3 decks were dusty with cobwebs, and the fans where so dusty we had to clean before using. Owner replied “sorry the home has not been up to your standard”. She did say she’d address with cleaner and maintenance but wasn’t done right away which was a little disappointing.

This home is really beautiful and has a family feel to it. The rushing river out back was just amazing. 3 decks with epic views! We kept the windows open to listen to the river most of the time, ate our meals on the porch and dipped our achy feet in the cold river after a day of hiking. Just lovely!

We enjoyed staying in this lovely home in Salida, right on the Arkansas river. The decks are amazing and we enjoyed the easy walk into town so we never had to take the car out of the garage. We did have a problem with the internet - it was hard to connect and the speeds were quite slow when we did, which is a problem for me as I work remotely. But the manager said they would look into that so hopefully it’s not a problem for future stays.

Nice place, easy walking distance to downtown

Our family had a wonderful time on our trip to Salida. The house was comfortable, with 2 large bedrooms and 3 balconies overlooking the Arkansas River. There were plenty of places for the family to hang out without feeling crowded, like the living room and the downstairs den for the kids, while my wife and I sat outside and enjoyed the sound of the river and the view of the hills across the river. The location is a short walk from downtown, even for our 5 year old, so we only used the car if we needed to get groceries or drive to Mt Princeton, etc. And being March in Colorado, it was nice to have a garage to park in, although the weather was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Ski Trip

We loved the location! Walking distance to the Catholic Church and downtown. Close access to HWY 50 heading to Monarch ski area.Beautiful view of the river behind the property. More than enough room for our party of Six.

Great Family Getaway

This property was perfect for our family of 5 to enjoy. Everyone had their own bathroom and space. Lots of shared space for games and cooking. Beautiful view of the river and close to town. We will be back!

Quality Riverside condo

This is a beautiful, clean home, great kitchen, quality top to bottom in all areas. It was relaxing to hear the water right outside and the hot tub was a great way to relax overlooking the river and it was great to be a few short minutes walk away from downtown Salida. Our host was also great with quick communication helping with check in. We will definitely be back if we are in the area!
