  • Right in the middle of downtown Salem there is yet another beautiful loft to share with whomever wants to come visit our wonderful city! The Heart of Downtown Living apartment is a 900 square ft two bedroom, single bath with a fully stocked and very roomy kitchen. You'll enjoy a view of the lively sidewalk cafes on the street below from your window box adorned living room window. Come stay with us and be close to many attractions Salem has to offer, from Riverfront Park with it's walking, biking, and jogging trails, Salem Center Mall, to Wine tasting and hikes just a short drive in surrounding areas- not to mention just blocks from the beautiful Willamette campus and our State Capitol Building.

A comfortable getaway

This was a place close to the hospital where my husband and I could rest while our premie daughter was in NICU. It was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Salem downtown

The family real like the place. Really beautiful and super convenient with everything you need in a walking distance. Will stay again next time we come back.

The apartment was so clean and comfortable. The beds and heated toilet seat were fantastic. It is so close to the park and variety of restaurants. I walked everywhere. The park has a great walking trail. There were great shops nearby ( a fantastic bookstore). The free parking is nearby. The hosts were wonderful. I am seventy-two and the stairs (about 25) leading up to the apartment were no problem because they have rails on both sides (and I packed 2 small suitcases). I would definitely stay there again. One of my favorite VRBO stays.

Wonderful in downtown Salem

We loved being right downtown with access to everything we wanted. The apartment was very comfortable and supplied with all we needed (even soy sauce!). Great beds so good sleep. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location

The property is exactly as advertised. Very clean, well stocked and we felt secure in the unit. The location was perfect for exploring downtown and all it has to offer.

The property is a nice small two bedroom apartment. A lot of very nice restaurants are within a block or so. There is a nice riverside park two blocks away.

Loved the Heart of Downtown

My stay at the property was great. Convenient walking distance to state Capitol and restaurants. check in was easy and the place is very clean. Parking isn't the best which is why gave 4 of 5 stars on location/neighborhood. However, the options are not terrible.

Excellent location.

This apartment had all the necessaries and a very equipped kitchen. It was clean, beds were confortables and it was at an excellent location. Restaurants and shopping stores are around it. The host was very responsive and available to answers questions.

Beautiful lodging, excellent location

This is our second stay in this clean, spacious apartment. There are a variety of restaurants nearby, and you're about a ten-minute walk to the Willamette campus. Check-in and out are easy and uncomplicated. We were happy to return and will be back again.

Super great place to stay in downtown Salem. There is a small convenience store on the corner and a Safeway that is about 5 minutes by car. Lots of local places to eat within a short walk. I particularly liked Archive, Taproot, & Fork Forty.The place is clean with a pleasant layout. There were enough pots/pans to make most things. The beds were comfy if a little creaky. The water pressure was decent and the heated & lighted toilet seat was nice at night and in the early morning. The living area is quaint and good for reading a book by the window or watching media thru the large flat screen. The place had an easy to use thermostat and the gas faux fireplace put out heat if you are right in front of it. Noise from the street was better than expected given how large the windows are. Lastly, I came in a little late and got confused by the keypad (though it was clearly explained, I was tired-reading and missed the pic of instructions). The host was immediate in helping and continued to be fabulous to work with. I recommend.

Great location and a super host

The host was super helpful the few times we needed her. The apartment's location in the center of the city was great for walking, shopping and dining. And absolutely nothing was amiss or missing in the apartment. Best of all Angela was super helpful and accommodating. Maybe our best VRBO experience ever.

Spring Break in Salem

Stayed in Salem for a week to visit my FIL. Loved the apartment! It’s location is wonderful! I few blocks from a riverfront park, steps away from shops, coffee, drinks, and food, and a free parking garage just through the alley! Angela made checking in super easy would videos of the checkin process too. 10/10 would highly recommend!!

YET ANOTHER EXCELLENT SALEM STAY

This is the second time staying here, and it won't be the last! I visit family in Salem and this apartment is the perfect place to call home while visiting. It's in a GREAT location, spacious, and most important comfortable and like a home. Angela and her crew keep the property pristine and well stocked. Communication and check-in is easy and seamless. Can't recommend enough!!

Quaint apartment in Central location

We were so close to stop many restaurants and bars so we could just go outside and pick somewhere to eat. We drove about 40 min to Silver Falls park so hikes were accessible by this location too. The apartment was clean and well stocked from headache pills to shampoo and conditioner. We watched Netflix on TV at night to wind down. I would highly recommend this apartment if you're staying in Salem.
