I would recommend friends stay at this rental when in the area, it is convenient when floating the Akers area. I suspect we arrived after a rushed cleaning, b/c the template ‘welcome’ letter meant for me was accompanied by another ‘welcome’ letter for a St***. We hauled firewood so we could enjoy the fire pit but would have appreciated if the grass/weeds had been cut.

Family Float Trip

The location of the property was perfect for an early morning float trip on the Current River, about 15 minutes to the outfitter. The home was clean and provided plenty of rooms for our family. It was only about 20 minutes to Salem and access to stores and restaurants. Would stay at the home again.

Fly fishing trip

Place was beautiful, well kept, and beds were comfortable. Only issue was the sewer line made the entire house smell and that wasn’t so pleasant.

Quite days with friends

Was a relaxing couple of days. Host was very responsive with all of our concerns. (All minor) House is spacious and ready for a few fun days with friends and a little trout fishing. Kitchen table was not designed for four older adults. Overall had a great stay in this quite little hideaway.

Annual Friends Float Trip

We enjoyed the property/house very much. The location was amazing. The local hen who rooaterd on the fence in the backyard. The host were great and accommodating. We will definitely be returning to this property! Highly recommend!!

Trout fishing trip

Beautiful home

Everything was great except, picture shows plenty of toilet paper but between the 2 bathrooms there was only 1 1/2 rolls! The house itself was awesome and very spacious! Will rent again but will bring extra TP with us (LOL)!

Perfect for Trout Fishing at Montauk State Park!

Five of us came from Kansas and Illinois. We had an absolute blast. It had everything we needed and was super clean. We had tons of space and felt like it was home. Thank you, Amber, for being a great host!

Dailing House Review

The hosts and the house were great for our visit. The property was centrally located for our excursions along the Current River. The only drawback was the neighbors firing off over 100 rounds of ammo on Palm Sunday. We are both hunters so the noise was only a minor inconvenience.

Montauk Fishing Trip

Property is within a few miles of the Montauk State Park entrance. 4 full bedrooms was great for a big group. I’m giving the place 5 stars when you compare it to all other fishing accommodations in the area. Property owner was always available if needed. Would definitely stay here again.
