"We stayed here for Fall break so water was low and it was too cool for typical lake activities, but the view is gorgeous, the area was quiet and the place is beautiful! We were able to use the peddle boat and kayak and enjoy fishing all around the immediate area. The house has a view from so many windows and two large balconies. It’s well appointed and we lacked nothing. Kitchen is very well stocked. Starter supplies of many things. Tons of blankets, pillows and towels. We enjoyed the game room...

"This was just what we needed. I surprised my hubby with a short stay and "us" time away from the kids. We enjoyed every bit of it. The host was very communicative and friendly. They even provided a few free things to do for ideas. One suggestion I do have is maybe add a fan in the bedroom (my husband like circulating air, ha!) But it wasn't a big issue. "We were very comfortable at this sweet refurbished cabin built in 1920. The host has thought of everything and it is decorated so adorably. The grounds are lovely and the various options for outside seating and relaxing were much appreciated. The HVAC worked perfectly and we needed both a bit of ac and a bit of heat during our fall stay. "Spacious and welcoming, this “retreat” was perfect for our family’s time near Dayton. The plentiful deck areas made for pleasant outdoor time. The kitchen had most of what one needs to prepare meals and all appliances worked properly. We really enjoyed our stay!"
