Vacaciones de verano

Es la segunda vez que visitamos la casa en vacaciones, es una finca muy bonita y completa ( tiene todo lo necesario y más...), solo había tres noches libres cuando fuimos a alquilarla, aunque nos hubiese gustado estar más tiempo. El lugar es muy tranquilo, en plena naturaleza, lo único malo es que nos pilló uno de los días con muchísimo aire ( frio en la piscina a finales de julio, jaja). El dueño está atento en todo momento por si surge algún problema poder solucionarlo. Gracias.

We spent four days (Dec 4-8) at Finca Fuente de Hierro and it was flawless. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful, well maintained, and well equipped the house was. We had everything we needed and more, and Ralf quickly and kindly answered any questions we had beforehand. He also checked in with us during the weekend to see if we needed anything. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are very spacious and nice, and the kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need. We would have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on one of the various terraces, depending on where the sun was. It was great to enjoy a coffee on the upstairs terrace while watching the sun set, and to do a bbq together near the pool. We also really enjoyed visiting some of the beautiful nearby towns, and did a great hike right near the house. In general we wouldn't have changed anything about the experience... the house is great for kids, couples, families, etc. We can't wait to go back!!

We had a wonderful stay at Fuente de Hierro. Ralf is very friendly and accommodating. The finca is stunning with everything you could need for a family holiday or a secluded getaway. The views are out of the world, I’m sure we saw Morocco, and with no light pollution the night sky is amazing. Very highly recommended.

Wir waren knapp 3 Wochen im August auf der Finca und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus und der tolle Garten mit Pool lassen absolut keine Wünsche offen! Noch nie hatten wir so ein grandios ausgestattetes Haus. In den Küchen gibts mehr Ausstattung als wohl die meisten Menschen zu Hause haben, es fehlt an nichts. Es gibt super viele Handtücher, Spiele, Bücher, Babyausstattung usw. sodass keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön, der Garten und die Sitzecken sind gemütlich und gepflegt und man hat zu jeder Tageszeit immer ein nettes schattiges Plätzchen zur Verfügung. Auch die technische Ausstattung mit Klimaanlagen, Beleuchtung und E-Ladestation ist klasse. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist sehr herzlich und angenehm, man fühlt sich sehr Willkommen. Danke dafür Ralf!Wir haben uns jederzeit sehr Wohl gefühlt und uns bestens entspannt. Das war bestimmt nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt an diesem tollen Ort :-)

Wir haben wunderschöne 11 Tage in der Finca verbracht und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr umfangreich und in gutem Zustand. Bei bestem Wetter konnten wir die Umgebung erkunden und den Pool genießen.Eins der Highlights waren die Wildpferd bei Llanada de Sedella.Der Vermieter hat sich um alles gekümmert und stand bei allen Fragen immer sofort parat.

What an amazing property to unwind and relax. It has everything you need and more. The house was spotless and couldn’t fault it at all. What’s great is that the property is split in two, ideal for two families wanting to maintain their own space (separate kitchens and lounges etc) so suited us perfectly. It was great value too and would definitely recommend it for those wishing to get away from it all and enjoying some quiet time (children’s noises aside). Ralf the host was also very attentive and always quick to answer any questions and offer help where needed.

Lovely finca in the mountains

We had s great stay in the spacious and really Well equiped finca. The pool was fitting for us four adults and the Area around it was splendid. Overlooking the pool and the mountains from the cool and shaded pavilion. The two different “Apartments” of the White House with their own key worked perfectly with two teenagers in the family. The owner, Ralf, was very attentive and service minded during our stay. The onely negative thing is that it takes as much as 30 minutes to drive Down the steep, curvey and very narrow mountain Road and get to the buttom of the mountain of you Want to go to the Beach or shop in a Liedel. We recommend the finca to everybody who loves the quiet and Beauty of the Spanish mountains and Nature. The Porsborg family.

Fantastic Villa in the mountains

Wonderfully well equipped - the kitchen has every gadget you could wish for and everything outside and inside has been thought of. Everything is of really high quality - from the gas bbq to the underfloor heating. Beds are comfy, bathrooms are excellent. There are at least four different areas to enjoy outside - a pool balcony with bbq; a roof terrace, a ground terrace and table tennis table. We loved the location - you can walk straight out into the National Park and hike to a local village (30-45 minutes).The host was exceptionally responsive and really cared that our stay was as perfect as it could be. An absolute gentleman. This villa is perfect for two groups as it is actually two completely self contained apartments upstairs and downstairs. Probably the best villa we have stayed in in Andalucia. Thank you!

Great place to get away from it all

Ralph’s place is very well cared for, very clean and has great views. The house has everything you need. Check in was very easy. Be prepared for the drive up, it is a beautiful place but the roads and very windy and it takes around 30-35mins to get to the bottom. We did have an issue with wasps, dozens flying around the pool and in the pool. I’d recommend nearby restaurant Venta El Curro

Spectacular location and well equipped villa

This is probably the most well equipped villa we've ever stayed in. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and little things like suncream, spare chargers and adaptors made all the difference. There is tons of space, inside and outside. The finca is beautifully positioned, in stunning countryside, totally private and secluded. Nonetheless, it is still only 15 minutes from the little town, which has a little grocery shop for basics. Competa is only a couple of minutes further and has a full supermarket, and a number of restaurants. Restaurante Contijo Paco is highly recommended! Back to the villa, the beds are comfortable, the wifi reliable and the air con efficient. The pool is fabulous- be aware there are HUNDREDS of wasps, but they are not at all aggressive, and fishing them out of the pool became a daily game for my youngest! This is not a villa for party people, or those who want an English pub nearby, but for those who want to experience proper rural Spain, and who value peace and quiet, I cannot recommend the finca highly enough. We cannot wait to return! Thank you Ralf for our care and attention, and letting us stay in your beautiful property.

Great stay at Finca

We had a wonderful stay at Ralf’s place. The accommodation was lovely and peaceful and there’s lots of different exterior spaces to enjoy. The views are amazing. The pool terrace was particularly lovely to chill and relax. Would recommend going to the supermarket on your way to the Finca as there are no local shops close by, the last leg of the journey is off road so bear this in mind. The kitchen was fully equipped which was perfect for our stay. Ralf was a very attentive and responsive host. Would highly recommend this property.

Superbe maison

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet propriété, qui est magnifique et très bien équipée. l’emplacement est vraiment très isolé avec un accès en voiture un peu rude, en pleine montagne pour un vrai dépaysement. Mais un peu loin de des magasins !!! Le propriétaire est très à l’écoute pour n’importe quelle questions, il est près à trouver une solution pour tt problème éventuel. Je recommande c’est propriété !!!

(English below) Un grupo de 9 familiares pertenecientes a tres generaciones hemos pasado una semana estupenda en Fuente del Hierro. El entorno es espectacular, la casa espaciosa y agradable, dividida en dos viviendas independientes perfectamente equipadas, y el anfitrion, Ralf, es extraordinariamente atento y amable. Esta claro que disfruta del area y de su casa y le gusta compartirlas. Muchas gracias, Ralf por todas tus atenciones. Hemos pasado unos dias estupendos! A group of 9 family members from three generations spent a fantastic week at Fuente del Hierro. The area is spectacular, the house, divided in two apartments completely independent, is spacious and pleasant and perfectly equipped, and the host, Ralf, is extraordinarily attentive, helpful, and kind. It's clear that he enjoys the area and his house, and takes pleasure in sharing them. Thank you very much Ralf for all your help and kindness. We had a wonderful time!

Eine wundervolle Ruheoase

Meine Frau und ich hatten das Glück spontan für 11 Nächte in der Finca Gäste sein zu dürfen. Eines vorweg, jedem Gast sollte klar sein, dass die herrliche Aussicht und die absolute Privatsphäre damit einhergehen, dass die Anreise auch etwas länger und abenteuerlicher sein kann. Jedoch ist es wie so oft im Leben, dass die tägliche Routine die anfängliche Nervosität schnell verdrängt. Nach nur einem Tag erzeugte die Fahrt keinen erhöhten Puls mehr. 😊 Die Strecke zum Haus wird mit Google Maps fehlerfrei navigiert. Das nur als Tipp. Das Objekt lässt in Sachen Ausstattung, wie die Rezessionen vor mir bereits lobend erwähnt hatten, keine Wünsche offen. So viele Geräte, Geschirr und Besteck hatten wir niemals zuvor in einem Ferienhaus. Absolut TOP. Der Außenpool wurde auf unseren Wunsch beheizt - eine wahre Wonne !!! Ein abschließendes Wort noch zu dem Eigentümer Ralf - Danke für alles!!! Du hast uns in allen Situationen geholfen, Auskunft gegeben und Dich immer gekümmert. Großartig, dass es sowas noch gibt. Die Historie der Finca und die Zukunftspläne aus erster Hand zu erfahren, waren sehr interessant und spannend. Zusammenfassend, wer Ruhe und Entspannung mit grandiosem Blick über die Berge bis zum Meer sucht, wird hier fündig.

Amazing summer hols with friends n family

What can I say ...apart from this place is AMAZING. The communication from the owner from the moment we booked to when we landed back in the UK was absolutely fantastic . We went with our friends so the seperate apartments were great to allow us our own personal space . The pool area is fantastic too!! The road up is off road at a certain point but we managed with 2 little fiat 500's and the directions from Ralf were spot on ! We did call at the local Lidl ( 30 mins approx)from airport before arriving at Finca , which is a must so you can just chill for a few days . The place is more than well equipped for everyone's needs . This was the first time our friends have experienced a week in a Finca and off the beaten track and are totally smitten ... who wouldn't be ... you get your own space, a great pool , outside area and stargazing at its best So thanks Ralf for an amazing stay and hope we get to come back again!!!

Emplacement fabuleux

Superbe villa au style Andalou parfaitement équipée, il ne manque rien.La piscine est magnifique . Nous avons passé un séjour reposant et inoubliable. Merci encore à Ralf pour sa disponibilité,son efficacité et sa gentillesse ainsi qu'à Candido et José très réactifs eux aussi ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!

Wunderbare Finca in wunderbarer Umgebung

Zuallererst: Der Vermieter ist wirklich und aufrichtig bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Jede Anmerkung wird dankend angenommen, Probleme (und mögen sie noch so klein sein) bestmöglich behoben. Das Objekt selbst bietet mit seinen zwei Stockwerken eine wunderbare Auswahl an Räumen und Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten in einer noch wunderbareren Umgebung (damit ist durchaus auch das Grundstück gemeint). Wir sind jedenfalls begeistert und hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und werden die Finca Fuerte de Hierro wieder buchen - oder ihre Schwester, auch in der Umgebung ;) Zuletzt: der Fahrtweg mag manche erschrecken, er ist aber mit einem SUV und ein (klein) wenig Fahrerfahrung absolut zu meistern. Wer Vertrauen in sich hat (und das gilt auch für Fahranfänger) und sich etwas Zeit lässt. schafft nicht nur ohne weiteres die Strecke, sondern kann auch die herrliche Aussicht dabei genießen. Entspannt euch! Ihr seid im Urlaub!
