"If you’re with friends I would recommend for a group of 4. We had 6 people and 3 slept on a futon. The place was clean but some areas had film on the walls. About a 14 minute walk to nearest station."

"The host was very welcoming. The house had everything you could need and more. The restaurants around the neighbourhood served great food at very reasonable prices. So great to stay amongst the locals. Thank you for our stay and I highly recommend for travellers who want a more authentic stay in Tokyo. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Pencil House over the new year period in Tokyo. The location is quiet and perfect as it is also convenient to get to anywhere with proximity to the metro station. The layout of the rooms was perfect as each of our preteens got their own space and the kitchen has everything needed in a compact space. Communication was very easy with the host and appreciated. Would consider staying again if we are back in the area "
