"Wonderful stay at La Sauvagette! We loved staying at this comfortable gîte in the gorgeous village of Mortagne-sur-Gironde. Vikki and Andrew were wonderful hosts, very helpful and friendly. The house had everything we needed, clean and well stocked with everything needed for self catering holiday including charcoal BBQ.The garden was lovely with great views across the vineyards. Pool was clean and warm and enjoyed by us all. Plenty of sun loungers and seats. Garden box had inflatables, brollies...

"Petite maison au calme, très confortable et d’une extrême propreté. Le jardin est charmant. Très jolie région, côté mer et côté terre. L’accueil de Brigitte et Jean-Luc est vraiment à souligner, ils sont extrêmement sympathiques tout en restant discrets. Séjour vraiment très agréable. Je reviendrai explorer ce qui ne l’a pas été pour cause de grasses matinées! Patricia "

Laurent Thuillier, notre hôte, a été extrêmement disponible et nous le remercions beaucoup de ses services qui allaient bien au delà de ses "obligations" ! henri"

"Nous avons passé deux belles semaines au milieu des vignes dans lesquelles nous avons pu nous balader. L endroit est tres calme, ideal pour le repos. La piscine est grande et il y a également d autres équipements dans le grand jardin, comme un filet de badmington, une table de ping pong... Catherine et son epoux sont à l ecoute et tres discret. L'hebergement est simple avec les equipements suffisants. Nous le recommandons :)"

"Family friendly gite, great as a bolt hole. Fun added extras inside for the kids. Outside area is great, pool area wonderful. Upstairs bathroom and some utensils may need updating at some point but overall all was good and we had everything we needed. Be aware the third bedroom is accessed by a steep ladder and not suitable for younger children, fine for my 10&12 year old with the help of a stair gate guard we attached.Friendly and helpful hosts. Only 10 mins from a variety of places to visit...

"Une superbe expérience, dans le calme, entures de vignes, dans un moulin avec tout ce qu’il faut, bien équipé et reformé avec soin. Martine toujours charmante et très attentive. Idéal pour se reposer dans un endroit de rêve, mais aussi pour visiter les alentours, Talmont, Mortagne, Pons, Jonzac, les petits et les grands producteurs de pinot et cognac, l’estuaire… A recommander, á faire et á refaire (peut-être l’été prochain) !"

"Sehr gut. Das Haus lag in einem Ortsteil von Saujon, nur 20 km vom Atlantik entfernt. Wir bevorzugten als Strand die Côte Sauvage , aber auch die Strände entlang der Küste um Royan waren sehr gut zu erreichen. Der Vorteil , nicht direkt an der Küste zu wohnen: französische Lebensart abseits der Touristenmeilen zu erleben . Märkte , Cafés , Boulangerien, Feste , kleine Restaurants und Bistros , Kirchen und Abteien . Und natürlich speziell in der Region : Austern und andere Meeresfrüchte absolut...
