Semana tranquila en entorno envidiable

Hemos pasado una semana muy agradable. La casa es fiel a la descripción, muy amplia y bien distribuida, los propietarios muy atentos y reactivos. Lo mejor: los exteriores con una amplia terraza y una vista fantástica al campo y la montaña. La piscina es amplia también y perfecta para tomar el sol. Puntos de mejora: la limpieza de la casa en general y el aire acondicionado que es insuficiente en la parte de arriba, en época de mucho calor.

A lovely quiet spot surrounded by vineyards with Mont Ventoux in the distance. Walking distance to nearest village with a good number of restaurants. Lovely pool to cool off in. Friendly and helpful host.

Séjour de qualité

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans cette magnifique villa située à Saint-Montan, un village médiéval plein de charme. La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée, et parfaitement adaptée pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis. La piscine est un vrai plus, avec une vue imprenable sur les vignes et le Mont Ventoux en toile de fond — un cadre à couper le souffle pour se détendre. L’hôte a été très accueillant, chaleureux et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Nous recommandons cette location les yeux fermés et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Très bon séjour dans un cadre magnifique !

Belle maison avec un extérieur très agréable et une vue magnifique qu'on ne se lasse pas d'admirer ! A l'intérieur, les équipements sont corrects, quoique certains un peu vieillissants... La literie n'est pas des plus confortables, dommage.

Lovely remote house in the Ardeche

We stayed at the house for 2 weeks in Aug 24. House was exactly as advertised. Check in process was easy and the owner lives next door and was happy to assist with any issues. He also visited the property early each morning to clean the pool. The location is quite remote but it's very peaceful and has lovely views over the neighbouring vineyards. If you want a quiet and peaceful break deep in the Ardeche then we highly recommend

Splendid view but overpriced

The house is located beautifully - splendid view over the vineyards and mountains. Calm surroundings. The host is very friendly. Overall: Personal view: overpriced by appr 30% compared to similar houses in region. When a host raises the rental to this level, expectations follow. At a reasonable price, I would have rated this place 4 or 5 stars The house is quite well renovated although some of the furniture has had its prime time. The kitchen in particular is very rustic and doesn't fit the prize at all. POSITIVE Pool with nice view Lots of space indoors Friendly host meeting you at arrival One A/C unit on the 1st floor - works quite well throughout the floor Great location outside the small village of St Montan and many great places within reach - don’t miss f.ex La Garde-Adhémar, with its scenic setting and great restaurants and canoë around pont d'Arc NEGATIVE kitchen not adequate for cooking for more than a few people - it’s far too crowded in a tiny space and at this prize much more is expected. F.ex we only found one very old wooden chopping board and decided to buy an extra one. Also, I tried sharpening the knives Not even a full roll of toilet paper in each toilet Limited outdoor space beyond the terrace Lastly, I have never arrived in a house in France or Italy without being welcomed with some cold water in the fridge - many add a bottle of rose - water would have been great :-)

Beautiful view and spacious house

We stayed for a week from 10 June 2023. The house is enormous and charming. Having so much space was great as we were two couples - so we could choose from the four large bedrooms. There is plenty of storage space and places to eat, with two large interior dining tables and an exterior shaded terrace. We didn't use the air con on the first floor. Downstairs remained cool, and the upstairs bedrooms were fine at night, with the windows open and curtains closed and no issues with mosquitos. The view of the mountains and vineyards is fantastic, and we enjoyed spending time on the large terrace. We were delighted to see our first Hoopoo, which seemed to be nesting in the big tree in the driveway. The pool is fantastic, and there is plenty of space for sunbathing and reading. It was so relaxing to sit by the pool with the calming view of the countryside all around. There are many flowering shrubs and so many unique succulents and cacti! We walked into Saint Montan for the tiny weekly produce market, which was lovely. Saint Montan is a charming must-see village. We didn't get to see the Chateau but want to return one day as we loved the area. The house was adequately clean and tidy. Our only issues were with the kitchen layout, which was a bit awkward to navigate, and only one small sofa in the living room, which meant it wasn't ideal for two couples to watch a film in the evening. Thank you to owners Sabine and Jean Michel for a lovely week in the most beautiful countryside.

Zeer comfortabel huis met schitterend uitzicht!

Drie weken lang hebben we genoten van de rust, ruimte om ons heen, het zwembad, het zeer comfortabele huis en de heerlijke omgeving om leuke dingen te ondernemen! Het huis is goed geoutilleerd, zowel binnenshuis, als buitenshuis. Airco op de bovenverdieping is prettig. De keuken is compleet en het terras biedt verschillende plekken om te vertoeven. Heerlijk om te ontbijten bij het kleine zitje met het uitzicht over de wijnvelden en de Mont Ventoux in de verte. Onze kinderen van 3, 5 en 7 jaar oud hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Het zwembad is groot en heeft een comfortabele instap met een geleidelijke trap. Overigens goed af te sluiten met een hekje met slot. Heel prettig. De weg waaraan het huis ligt is heel rustig, maar slechts enkele auto's passeren per dag. De eigenaren Sabine en Jean Michel zijn heel zorgzaam en behulpzaam wanneer dat nodig is. Ongelooflijke vriendelijke mensen. De communicatie ging helaas niet altijd even makkelijk omdat het Engels en Frans over en weer met handen en voeten gaat. We hebben echt een heerlijke vakantie gehad en zouden anderen zeker aanraden naar deze plek te gaan! Bedankt!

Quiet and beautiful place

What a view! For your breakfast to your dinner, the sun will always be there and the view will always be amazing. The house is nice with efficient bedrooms and well deserved. The kitchen near to the pergola helps you to live outside without being inside It was a nice journey Thanks

Great Stay in the Ardeche

We has a great week in this beautiful house with a great position. The house is spacious, well-equipped en really beautiful. We got a warm welcome (and goodbye) and good explanation of the house and swimming pool. Dispite the weather that wasn't perfect we could enjoy the pool and terrace as it is well covered from the wind. From the house it was easy to visit the region. Only small point of attention is the cleanliness of some of the dishes but that was easily fixed with the dishwasher. I we come back to the Ardeche we would not hesitate to rent this house again!

Séjour calme et agréable

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre amis dans cette maison. Le cadre y était agréable, calme et a proximité de la ville de saint montan. Très belle vue, belle maison et belle piscine. Parcours de vélo, terrain de pétanque au alentour. Propriétaires très sympathiques.

Die Lage und der Pool sind sehr gut

Die Lage ist sehr gut der weite Blick auf die Berge super. Die Sauberkeit ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig man hat zwar gesehen das gewischt wurde aber die Spinnen Netze waren doch überall sichtbar und auch der Backofen war extrem schmutzig. Wir haben diesen nicht genutzt. Eine Fliegengage vor den Fenstern wäre eine super Investition. Ebenso wäre es gut zu wissen das die besagte Klimaanlage nicht in den Schlafräumen ist sonder im sogenannten Durchgang. Man sagte uns wir sollten die Türen auflassen und es wäre kühl. Das Gegenteil war der Fall. In der unteren Etage steht die Luft und lüften geht nur mit viel Mückenspray. Es ist also sehr verbesserungswürdig auch sollte man darüber nachdenken die Fenster und Türen zu reparieren und nicht zu sagen diese sollten zu bleiben. Das Geschirr und das Besteck ist zusammen gewürfelt wie fast alles im Haus. Ein bisschen sind wir uns wie auf dem Flohmarkt vorgekommen. Schade. Auch zu bemängeln ist das keine englische Sprache wie beschrieben vorhanden war und der Google übersetzer es nicht besonders gut hinbekommt. Der Außen Grill bekam von uns eine Tiefenreinigung, obwohl das Reinigungpersonal angeblich vorher da war. Sonst wäre es ungenießbar gewesen. Auch der große Außentisch ist sehr wackelig.wir hätten uns vor Ort beschweren können aber ohne Sprachkenntnisse fast unmöglich und wir glauben auch nicht das dies was geändert hätte. Die Reinigungskosten sind unserer Meinung nach rausgeschmissenes Geld. Alles in allem war das schönste der Pool. Mückenspray für den Körper ist unbedingt erforderlich durch das Efeu rund um die Außenanlage und bedingt zu empfehlen.

Une belle maison, une vue imprenable et un village magnifique !

Très belle maison de caractère et agréable piscine où il fait bon se baigner au chant des cigales sur une vue imprenable. Néanmoins, quelques petits points à préciser : la clim est présente que sur la mezzanine à l’étage, un peu court pour y rafraîchir les chambres. Pour 7 personnes, de la vaisselle manquait pour 2 repas consécutifs (couverts, assiettes, verres ordinaires...) Quant à la propreté, ce n’est pas nickel mais correct. Pour conclure, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette belle maison avec vue, au calme, bien située pour découvrir l’Ardèche, notamment le village de Saint Montan qui est absolument magnifique et authentique ! Merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil, sympathiques et efficaces, ce fût une belle semaine de vacances !!!

Résidence avec une vue magnifique

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce mas où la vue est magnifique de la terrasse et la piscine. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs à toutes les questions avant et pendant le séjour. Le mas est très agréable pour 8 personnes et correspond exactement au descriptif et aux photos. A 13 min à pied, on y trouve le centre du village de Saint Montan avec la boulangerie, différents restaurants ainsi qu'une pharmacie et un producteur de légumes. La ballade à pied est très agréable dans la nature. Au niveau des activités, nous avons fait la visite de Saint Montan avec Thierry le tailleur de pierres et nous la conseillons vivement pour bien comprendre l'histoire du village. Nous vous avons également fait l'accrobranche de Saint Julien de Peyrolas : parcours tout en sécurité, vue magnifique, à faire et refaire avec le plus grand plaisir de tous (30 minutes en voiture). La baignade est également très agréable dans l'Ardèche sur la plage de Saint Martin en Ardèche, prévoir tout de même des chaussures pour aller dans l'eau. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille où chacun gardera de beaux souvenirs !

Maison très agréable, extérieure avec beaucoup de volume et vue magnifique sur le mont Ventoux. Très bon point de départ pour visiter la région.

Excellente semaine de détente

Propriétaires chaleureux et accueillant, très agréable maison avec superbe point de vue. Nous avons passé une très heureuse semaine entre amis à profiter de la piscine et du village de Saint Montan. Soirées conviviales et réussies sur la terrasse ombragée !

Holiday perfection!

We just got back from a week in Saint-Montan. Sabine and Jean-Michel's place is perfect for a family holiday. The pool is wonderful – just the right size and temperature for a warm summer break. The outdoor area is great for eating and relaxing by the pool, and the views are majestic. The kitchen is well appointed and the rooms are great – we were two families of four and it suited us perfectly. There's lots of interesting stuff to discover in the house and plenty to keep the kids entertained. Saint-Montan is beautiful and is within easy striking distance, as are other great spots – we did kayaking on the Ardéche, swimming and paddleboarding at La Roque sur Cèze (so beautiful!!) and trips to Avignon, Orange and Viviers. An amazing holiday and some great memories. Merci!!
