"The physical aspect of the apartment was adequate although the bathroom facility is extremely basic, cramped, and is in need of some finishing work. Overall the comfort level is adequate however there is no noise insulation around the sleeping quarters and the sounds from the house above are immediate and sadly audible.The hours indicated as quiet time in the listing were not adhered to and late night noise made the stay very uncomfortable resulting in leaving after the first night. "We booked La Casa Samson for two months to care for my father-in-law. Sadly, just days after we arrived in Montreal, he was hospitalized, placed in palliative care, and soon passed away. We stayed only three nights. Upon entering, there was a strong odor from three Febreze plug-ins. We unplugged them immediately, only to discover the underlying scent of humidity and mildew the next day.
