"The Lodge itself was beautiful and comfortable ideal for a family or couple with a dog, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, and so spacious!... the views of Milbrook and Plymouth from Lodge 23 are astounding. A great place to relax. Although pet friendly, I think if you own just one, well behaved dog he or she should be allowed off-lead and monitored closely...but it's a no, I understand why, but my dog is a registered working dog and it was her holiday too. Maybe a dog area should be considered...

"Agree entirely with a previous review. Not an hotel, just a B&B with bar and a very limited menu. The proprietess wanted to talk at us. The son, considerably older than 21, came up to us in the bar and said his mother would be with us soon to serve us drinks. Clearly he was not authorized to. Why? So we waited another 5 --10 mins for her to appear.
No hot water in room - neither shower nor wash basin. Reactions were "we know one of the hot water timers is faulty, but it's nearly time for annual...

"Such a gem of a place, tucked in overlooking the sea, I couldn't have been happier with my stay.
Staff are lovely, food was delicious, an extremely relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend the Wilcove Inn"

"3-Bettzimmer mit französischem Doppelbett und Einzelbett, sehr leckeres Frühstück, sehr gutes Internet, Boden und Wände sind total schief, sodass der Tisch sehr schräg steht, Parkplatz kostet 10£ - wir hatten Glück, dass wir spontan den letzten Platz bekommen haben, weil wir nicht reserviert hatten"
