"The Owner was very obliging, as due to CHC being booked out & a midnight flight arrival, we knew if would be a 3am arrival. He kindly left the unit unlocked for us. While the place is showing it's age & use, it was clean & tidy, the shower was great, the sheets were clean & the beds comfy. We slept well. Would I use Larchwood Motels again? Without hesitation. It's value for money indeed. I have to say, I enjoyed teh chat with the owner teh next morning. A cheerful & kind man."

"Modern home with all the comforts, great views from the back deck and availability to wash own clothes and cook own meals. Amenities to do all that was excellent. Comfortable beds and bonus having two bathrooms if needed. Lovely surrounding views and parking onsite. Only downer was the Small airconditioning unit and having to supply your own linen and towels. "Wow! What a space! The drive up is rather intense and I wonder if maybe there should be a warning when booking like other spaces have? Otherwise it was almost otherworldly when we arrived in the thick fog and woke in the morning to wonderful scenery. Definitely recommend "

"4 days in Isobel's cottage. My wife and I plus our fur child. Located right beside the walking and biking tracks which we came for. Snowed Sat nigh so we had some frosty mornings but beautiful clear days with that bright Autumn sun shining through the trees showing up the golds and browns of the leaves. Lovely warm and cosey cottage to come back to each day."
