"Encore mieux que sur les photos! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, tout était parfait. Mentions spéciales à la table de ping pong à l'extérieur mais couverte, au jacuzi à l'extérieur, et la salle de sport avec appareils. Nous avons apprécié la décoration, le ciel étoilé (pas de pollution lumineuse), la cuisine, la salle, le salon, les chambres, bref tout! Merci aux propriétaires qui ont tout fait pour que notre séjour soit réussi."

"I had not properly read that there would be no towels. We have not experienced this before. We had arrived by air so carrying those is not practical. Thankfully we were close to friends who helped us or we could not have had a shower after our long journey as there were no shops near. I wish they would be provided for other travellers like ourselves. We were told it was because of Covid but bed linen was provided and we could not understand the difference! Everything else was perfect."

"A clean and cosy Gite with a helpful owner who was available to answer questions and help during our stay. The upstairs has a lovely bright double bedroom, twin room and sitting area. The bathroom is bright and modern. Downstairs are two further rooms, a shower room and WC. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside there are plenty of areas to sit, with shade when needed. Pascal is a generous and helpful host. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit the area again one day. Merci Beaucoup Pascal...

"Patricia was wonderful and helpful. The place is super clean and located in a quiet area perfect if you re looking to disconnect from a busy life. The only way to get there is through narrow winding roads. So make sure you have all your errands done before you head back there other wise grocery stores and are pretty far."

"Location spacieuse avec belle vue sur la chaîne des Puys et , malgré les pics de chaleur, une température très correcte à l'intérieur, ce qui a été très apprécié à ce moment de canicule. Beaucoup de sites intéressants à proximité mais, voiture nécessaire, même pour de courts trajets. Une quinzaine agréable et reposante malgré la départementale plutôt passante pendant seulement la journée ."

"Beautiful private big garden for our dog. Lots of dog walks down connecting tracks and easy days out walking Puy de Dome, Le Mont dore. You really are rural but the Wifi was great. Kitchen was really well equipt. Marie Claude was there if we needed her."

"Bel accueil d'Olivier qui nous a fait visité le logement. Les espaces sont spacieux, la cuisine très bien équipée. Literie confortable. Le jacuzzi, spa, babyfoot, table de ping-pong, jeux extérieurs pour les petits furent appréciés. Malgré un temps mitigé, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette grande demeure idéal pour plusieurs familles. Je vous conseille d'y aller!"

We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."

"Le cadre est parfait pour un dépaysement total ! Le propriétaire, Mr Fraisse, est très sympathique. Nous avons été "chez nous" pendant 5 jours et avons profité, pleinement, de la belle demeure et de cette belle région !! Ah, j'ai oublié ; le fromage et le miel produits par le propriétaire, étaient juste délicieux !! Sans oublier les oeufs de ferme que avons pu nous procurer chez la voisine... En résumé, on "vit" la nature quand on est en Auvergne !"

"We had a long drive and we were met by both Bernard and Martine, they were very welcoming. Their place is lovely right on the river and what a view! We loved the balcony and sat watching the local fisherman fishing for salmon. Their place has been carefully decorated and we had everything we needed. It was very chilling being by the river and we had many walks along the the river. We climbed the puy de dome and loved Clermont Ferrand which was a lovely city. Sadly the thermal baths nearby were...

"Grand gîte isolé, très calme, bien aménagé, confortable. Un peu loin de tout. Proprietaire très sympathique. Région très belle . Quelques lieux touristiques incontournables (Michelin, Vulcania) et bien sûr les volcans, les eglises romanes, la nature et les fromages ! SUPERS VACANCES"

"This chalet has a lovely view of the lake and the wooded hills. A lovely view at breakfast and during the evening meal. The chalet was very well appointed with all necessary utensils. While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."
