Would stay a 3rd time

We stayed here once again so decided to stay again. After doing so, we would stay a third time. The kitchen is fully stocked and the seating is great for adults and kids. It's the small things like; laundry detergent, leaf blower, backup batteries that make a difference.

5 STAR STAY!

This was our first trip to Fripp and our stay at the Caddy Shack was superb. The house was comfortable and tasteful, and conveniently located to everything on the island. The thoughtfulness by the owners was outstanding....to the extra amenities, their communication, and overall experience. Our 2 boys (3 and 5) loved the bunk beds, the golf cart, and everything about the island. It was the perfect family vacation. We can't wait to return!

Highly Recommend The Caddy's Shack!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts, Allie and Chris, are excellent hosts! The property is so well-equipped (especially the kitchen!). Highly recommend.

I'll be back

Everything was great. The next time we book a trip to Fripp, we will first check to see if this property is available. The layout is great and the kids and adults really enjoyed it. Super clean. I have nothing negative to say.

This house is beautiful and is stocked with everything and some which is awesome. The house is directly beside the pond so bugs are absolutely awful which we understand I would consider putting a candle or something in the house to catch/avoid them. The only complaint we have is we wish it was cleaner than it was when we arrived. Overall it’s an awesome house thank you for having us!

Another great Fripp trip!

We have been coming to Fripp for 20 years. We rent a different house each time; both large and small. This place did not disappoint! For smaller groups, I prefer this compared to renting a condo.

The caddy shack is wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at the caddy shack! It was the best equipped home we have ever rented! Honestly, there was nothing that we needed that was not at the property. It was very clean and comfortable. The windows and view were beautiful. Allie was very responsive and helpful! We would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

perfect house and perfect location

We were there for my son's golf tournament. We travel a lot and this house was a special treat for us. It has everything you need, great location, golf cart use, fantastic views and location. We will definitely be back!

Winter get away

The property is just as described and even more pleasing in person. All furnishings are well thought out and comfortable for your get away. The house comes with all the necessary essentials for a vacation and then some! It was almost like being at home as everything we needed was at our finger tips. The location worked for us as it is close to the island center, beach access, bike path, etc. We normally book at the Beach Club Villas and really liked the serenity of the golf course location. It was very quiet and lots of wild life. I give this a five star review. My only negative comment would be to check with the on island restaurants if you are coming off season, as many were not open. This of course is no reflection on the house or the owners, more so the time/season we decided to visit, There are many off island options for eating out and the kitchen has everything to make your meals if you dine at home. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful, Comfortable Home!

Gorgeous home with lovely views of the golf course and lagoon. Short walk to the ocean. This home is comfortable and well-equipped, and Allie was super helpful and responsive m. We would love to stay again!

Very nice - good location

The property was clean and renovations look great, very modern - great view. The location was actually much closer to the beach and other activities we usually do on Fripp and the 6 seater golf cart was great. It must be new or not metered as it had a lot of power unlike most you get. The windows overlooking the golf course and pond were fantastic, you will see a plethra of different birds and a rookery is just around the corner (awesome to see). Their neighbors were very hospitable and showed us a few things around the island we had never seen before. Owners were very responsive and got back to us within minutes of us reaching out. There was a small issue in the kitchen (nothing unique to this house - could literally happen in any house) and the resolved the issue immediately. Downsides: These would not to apply to everyone - but may be helpful to know depending on your group and needs: The third bedroom is very small, it has been maximized to accomidate sleeping arrangements which is common. Unfortunately it does not leave much room and only one person can be standing in there. This is fine for kids, but was very cramped for 2 teenagers. There is no closet and two of the under beds drawers for storage are blocked by the ladder. There is a large storage closet next to it, but was a hassle to store clothes there instead of the bedroom. Good points the bedroom was very clean and the beds were large. The biggest downside was that there is no outside shower or water spicket which was odd. Without it you are unable to wash/clean feet/legs or anything off outside. We had to use towels to wipe off our feet every time, but then the towels were very sandy and the sand in Fripp is very sticky and the thought of getting sand in someones plumbing gives me heartache. We looked everywhere & couldn't find it or a hose. There is no garage or storage shed. If you bring a lot of things for activities or to use you will need to store them in your car. We've always had a garage and realized how much we used it. Again not a huge deal to probably most people, but we do bring items with us. There are only 2 adult beach chairs (no bigge but plan accordingly). Overall a nice house - great location.

Amazing Trip!

Highly recommend this beautiful home!! The owner was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We made a lot of meals in the house and it was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The house is a quick golf cart ride away from the beach, pools and restaurants. The owner was always available with questions and to ensure we had a perfect stay. Would absolutely book again if we return to Fripp Island!

Girls weekend

This house is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in! I was beyond impressed with the clean floors of a beach house. Also they have everything that you may have forgotten! Pretty sure I exhausted my bestie going on about all the amenities and cleanliness. Sitting on the porch listening to the gators and birds was awesome. Loved this rental and will definitely be back soon!

This was the cleanest home we have stayed in @ Fripp! We loved that the dishes were spotless!

The only.... issue was golf balls were landing on the deck where my parents 84 & 81 were! that was very scary.
