We had a great stay at Helene Island. If you choose this house don’t worry about taking anything extra . It has all the extras. I always take extra cookware and towels. However this kitchen is loaded. The interior decor is beautiful. Also, there are many great books to choose from. The Island is gated and everyone seems to respect the golf cart traffic and pedestrians. We truly enjoyed our stay

Absolutely wonderful stay at this property. From start to finish, everything was flawless. House was perfect for our family. House is fully stocked with anything you would want. Use of golf cart was super beneficial. Spectacular sunrise views every morning. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Our Son’s Army Retirement

Everyone had a beautiful time. The home is very beautiful and spacious. The 2 Golf Carts were a big hit. The views are spectacular! The host was super nice and attentive with our questions. We will definitely go back in the future.

Outstanding

My son graduated marine bootcamp and our family stayed here. It was exactly what we all needed. We saw a 6 point buck walking out on the marsh. This home is perfect for familes. Highly recommend

Incredible

This was a family spring break vacation. Both of my grown daughters and their families met us here and we throughly enjoyed our stay! There’s nothing wrong with the golf carts, you just have to make sure you plug them in a charge them properly. We own golf carts! The kitchen and laundry room have everything you need. There’s extra towels, enough TVs so that everyone can watch their own shows without competition and the views are absolutely INCREDIBLE! One evening we watched the most beautiful sunset with a bald eagle perched in a pine tree next to deck watched it with us! How majestic! I can’t begin to say enough great things about the host! I had several questions and she was right on it❤️

Home has lots of room to spread out, well stocked kitchen, several TV’s with ample viewing options, and an unobstructed million dollar view of a vast salt marsh and the Atlantic..

Glorious

My wife and I decided to escape February in the North East. We are deciding if the area suits us for relocation. We couldn't of picked a better house for us. Plenty of places to relax and work from.The Sunrise over the the marsh between us and the ocean was glorious. The view is enough for us to come back again. Melody was a gracious host responding quickly to our needs. I think next time it might be the entire winter.

Amazing view

The house was beautiful and large enough to accommodate several adults and children so we all had our own space. The neighborhood was quiet with several amenities. We loved the neighborhood pool and all the different beach access. There is a lot of stairs in the house which was worrisome with a little one but would definitely recommend this house and would stay again!

Beautiful, quiet getaway on a low-country gem.

We were thrilled with our stay on this property. It is a gated community. It was quiet and peaceful. Absolutely, stunning views. The little town, is far enough away from the beach traffic, but still a convenient short drive to restaurants and stores.

Family vacay 2023

This is our first time visiting the island! Cute house and a nice location- we saw so many dolphins and there's several pools in the neighborhood. There are lots of stairs at the house, so be prepared! Unfortunately the golf cart was out of service for the majority of our stay, which was really inconvenient for us (it was a deciding factor for this location versus others for us). Other issues were resolved quickly by the host. Overall we had a fun time.

Gorgeous view

This beach home has a beautiful view of the ocean and marsh! Harbor Island is so peaceful, uncrowded and quiet. This house was perfect for us and our dog was happy to be included! Melody is wonderful and quick to answer any questions. Thanks for a great week in paradise!

Gorgeous Views and Well-Stocked House

The house had everything we needed and provided ample space for our group of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) to have family time together while also having separate areas to hang out too. The marsh-to-ocean views are wonderful!

Peaceful luxury

Couldn't say enough about Melody and her amazing house that is tucked into a small maritime forest at the edge of an expansive marsh. The views are for days and the home is one of the best we've ever experienced in our VRBO history. Highly recommend. Each bedroom has it's own private balcony (some with screened porches). We were seeking quiet, reclusive, escape for our family with nature and aesthetics being paramount to our choice - this gem checks all the boxes. Book with confidence.
