This house has a wonderful layout especially the bathrooms for every bedroom. It is well equipped with the beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, bikes, and beach wagons mentioned in the description. The owner and property manager were very responsive although we had no problems. Easy beach access and great part of Fripp’s beach. We highly recommend!

Wonderful vacation

We had 4 families staying. Loved the way the house was laid out. The bathrooms were genius. The beds were very comfortable. The access to everything was great and convenient. The property manager Annette was very helpful and easy to work with. Pat was very kind to think of us as our father had passed the week before. We will definitely stay again.

The total package!

All 14 of us had an excellent week! Close to the beach, with great beach chairs, toys, and towels. Views of sunrises from the upstairs bedrooms and porch. The ice machine spoiled us! We need one at home. The family mentioned the great hairdryers in each bath. We loved the thoughtful layout/design of the house and bedrooms.

Family Memories

Third year staying at Footprints and it was excellent as always. This year was even better because it was the first time in six years that everyone was able to come. We all love the close access to the beach. Footprints feels like home now. Thank you Pat for opening up your home to us.

Family of 10. Daughters, son- in-law and grandchildren , with my husband and myself. Pat answered my questions quickly, provided needed information and provided a recliner which assisted me with my painful back/ hip. The house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. We were disappointed because there was a limited view of the ocean. Everyone loved the beach! was a limited v eqkitchen

Footprints in the Sand July 6-13, 2024

We were lucky to find Footprints available for the week we were planning to host a family vacation on Fripp Island. Our group consisted of six adults and four children aged 12-14 years old. I am happy to report that all enjoyed a magnificent holiday on the island. Footprints is a beautiful, spacious, well equipped home that is perfectly situated to access the beach and other island amenities. The included golf cart was great and allowed us to easily tour the island. Because of the size of our group, we did rent a second six seat golf cart but the favorite was the sporty one provided by the owner. The pre arrival instructions were detailed and ensured that we would be well prepared to enjoy our family holiday. The owner, Pat, was terrific in answering all questions we had prior to and during our stay. Suffice it to say this property is special and we look forward to staying there again.

Close to Beach!

Our family had a wonderful time at this quiet home near the beach on Fripp Island. The owner was helpful with booking, prompt in answering questions and provided additional information to help us have a great stay. The house provided everything we needed to have a great week. The property manager was also responsive with questions during our stay. We would definitely go back!

Family Reunion

The house had ample room for the nine of us. Plenty of private space and together space. The ramp was great for our son who is in a wheelchair. Beach access 1B was close and worked well for our son's beach chair and night beach walks.

Great sisters getaway!

What a wonderful time we (six sisters with 3 brother-in-laws) had staying at Footprints! The house is immaculate and the hosts have thought of everything. Loved having access to the golf carts and bicycles. Seeing deer in the backyard every morning was such a treat. Even though the weather wasn't what we had hoped for, we enjoyed our time together. Pat was joy to work with and checked in regularly to make sure we didn't have any questions or need anything. Would absolutely love to stay here again.

Awesome House

The house was beautiful. Quick walk to the beach. Communication with the owner was easy with quick responses. Our first time on the island and it was so fun. We had the beach all to ourselves. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. We loved reading out on the front porch it is nice and shady with a lovely breeze and you can see the ocean. Would fully recommend.

Beautiful Beach Home. 5 stars!

The home is beautiful, well equipped, and very close to beach access. My family enjoyed time at the beach every day and the house was spacious and so comfortable. The house provides a golf cart, beach towels, bikes and a wagon to transport items to the beach. The property manager, Nancy is excellent and a pleasure to work with. The owner also called us to see if we needed anything. This is our 2nd time in the house and we look forward to many more! Thank you Pat and Nancy!

Beautiful home and Great location

We have stayed at many rentals on Fripp Island over the last 20 years. This house was one of our favorites...a few minutes walk to a nice and relatively quiet stretch of beach, plenty of space for the nine of us and an enormous living room/kitchen with a porch overlooking the golf course and a higher one in the direction of the ocean. My brother is an excellent cook and always picky about the kitchen rentals, how well-stocked they are etc and he loved this kitchen. Everything is clearly labeled, and the property manager and owner answered me immediately with questions. Golf cart AND bicycles included! (Not always the case). Plus lots of beach chairs and toys. All in all, we had an excellent week because the house was so great--makes all the difference for a stress-free vacation.

Perfect New Vacation Location

My family has been vacationing for many years at Ocean Isle Beach, NC. We were looking to vacation someplace new and we are so happy that we found Footprints In The Sand. Our stay was simply wonderful! From the moment I made our reservation everything went very smoothly. The communication with Pat was very, very good and everything was handled prior to our arrival just as she stated it would be. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing week of vacation. We were very happy with our choice of a new vacation spot and we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful week at Fripp!

Our week at Fripp was fantastic! Pat was super helpful with all my questions prior to our trip, and exceedingly quick and attentive in responding to an unexpected issue and request during our stay. The location is great, and all the beach paraphernalia provided make packing so much easier! If additional grandchildren don't cause us to outgrow this house, we would love to rent in the future.

Our stay at "Footprints" was great. The house was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Our family enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the various pools throughout Fripp, and the wildlife. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get away to the beach without having to be crowded. Plenty of beach to walk and enjoy!

Annual Family Trip

We have spent three years coming to this beautiful house and it is absolutely amazing every time. This house is the perfect fit four our party of 9 (two families with 5 kids ranging from 4-10) and covers everything we need to have a stress free week at Fripp Island. We love hanging out in the spacious family room, playing in the backyard, playing games at the large table, and cooking dinners each night with ease in the kitchen. Kitchen is fully stocked with more than enough cups, silverware, and plates which is great. There’s even a fancy ice machine that the kids call “Fripp ice”. The golf cart is great for exploring Fripp Island, we’ve discovered something new each trip. We did many trips around the island using the golf cart and beach cruisers that’s come included. The kids love the nature center where they can see snakes, turtles, and sometimes little gators. There’s a few shops for souvenirs and even a little general store at the front which came in handy. There are so many beach towels, toys, and chairs so you do not need to bring anything at all. The beach across the street, only a short walk away, is one of the biggest features of this listing. There is a new beautiful boardwalk too which helped with getting to the beach right near the house. Every room has balcony access and there’s nothing like waking up and going out to the many comfy chairs that are out there and taking in that beach sunrise. Pat is absolutely wonderful and the property manager, Nancy, as well. She is so easy to get in touch with and ready to help if needed. We have done day trips to Beaufort and Hilton Head and also visited some of the surrounding islands and of course the deer roaming around Fripp Island never gets old. We just absolutely love it here and will continue to make this a go to vacation! This is a truly magical place that anyone would be lucky to stay at!
