Excellent location, beautiful foliage , near the water (could hear the waves).Bright colorful house with huge windows and unbelievable views.Loved the front porch views and the back screened porch , lots of deer visited.Host was so responsive to our requests.Concerns; the 12th bed was in the master bedroom as a pullout loveseat.There were not enough places to seat 12 people for meals.But a beautiful home!!

Great little Fripp House

We come to Fripp sometimes as many as 4 times a year. We’ve recently started using VRBO instead of the resort and this has opened up a whole new selection of rentals. Great little house with a million dollar sunrise over the bay view. House is well appointed and great island location. Pam ( host) responds quickly and we had a seamless stay while there !

Gorgeous Views Limited Privacy

The views from this home are stunning. We spent a great deal of time on the large front porch enjoying the sound of the ocean and lovely views. We were surprised that the primary bedroom didn’t have a door that closed properly or that could lock. It’s a large folding door that doesn’t provide much privacy. The lack of curtains in the primary and upstairs bedroom also caused problems for us. The upstairs bedroom is open to the downstairs. This made it difficult for our kid to sleep with anyone moving around downstairs. We also had problems with the front door lock which appeared old and rusty and was difficult to use. But the owner was very responsive to our questions about the lock. The house was relatively clean except for dust on the fan blades, sticky floors and dusty bed covers.

Slice of Heaven on earth.

My family and had enjoyed this home and where it is on Fripp so much we have already booked it for next year. In the morning you can set in the porch swing and watch dolphin feed and in the afternoon you can watch the Osprey feed their chicks with fresh fish just caught. Deer came by every morning and evening to say hi. Love this home. Karen

Communing With Nature

Although you're in a beautiful neighborhood golf course, you can't see any other homes from your window. Instead, you observe grazing deer, feeding dolphin, and a bird sanctuary - all while overlooking a magestic ocean view! The front porch swing and rockers beckon! The house (nestled in tropical foliage) has plenty of spacious, well-appointed bedrooms; each with an awesome view. Easy to enjoy the day indoors, but also close to every amenity. Steps away from launching the included kayak from the property!

Fripp stay

The location of property has great view morning , and evening. This house has a warm feeling when you look at it , and when you go inside. Hopefully go back next year. Overall it was a lot better than renting a hotel.

Osprey Point

My family and I (4 couples and 2 teenagers) stayed here for Labor Day weekend. The house was great. The front porch was my favorite spot. It overlooks the water with terrific views of Water, Hunting Island, dolphins, and birds. The sunrises were beautiful! The Island is quiet. Everything is easily accessible. Beautiful pools and ocean accesses. The owner was very kind and receptive. She checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. It was just a wonderful time with family. We loved Fripp and Osprey Point.

Beautiful View But.....

We rented this property to celebrate our 41st anniversary because of the beautiful views from the master bedroom from the on-line pictures. The house flooded twice due to roof leaks which required us to mop and put coolers under the bay window. The owner was apologetic, but has called it an "act of God." She and VRBO have refused to compensate us in any way other than a pint of ice cream and wine which was sent over the first night the room flooded. We are now investigating what our trip insurance will cover. The contractor did not put a tarp on the house after the first night of flooding so it flooded again on the second night we were there. He returned on Monday and his crew was there about 3 and 1/2 hours repairing the roof. The house is on a beautiful spot on Fripp, but needed some maintenance.

Williams Family Vacation

If you are looking for the most beautiful views on Fripp Island, you need to check out this rental. I literally could wake up and look at the awesome sunrise over the inlet from my bed! There are water views from nearly every room in the house. Perfect beach house and great location on Fripp Island. Pam was awesome to work with and very responsive when we had a question. The furnishings are beautiful and as pictured. We traveled with my family (me and my husband, our two grown daughters), my parents and mother-in-law. There are 14 steps up to the front porch, but my 80+ year old parents had very little problem negotiating them. The upstairs bedroom is a little stuffy at night, but that is not a problem with a balcony on both the front and back of the house with unbelievable ocean views. Our family loved this house and look forward to renting it in the future. Thank you Pam and family for sharing your beautiful beach house with us!

GREAT FAMILY VACATION IN A NOSTALGIC BEACH HOUSE

HAD A GREAT FAMILY VACATION AT THIS PROPERTY. THIS HOUSE HAS THE FEEL OF THE OLD TIME BEACH HOUSE (THAT'S A GOOD THING). PAM WAS EXTREMELY GRACIOUS AND HELPFUL WITH A COUPLE OF ISSUES WE HAD GETTING OUR RENTAL CARTS, ALSO HAD A SURPRISE WELCOME SNACK WAITING FOR US. ALSO A PERSONAL TOUCH TO US WITH THE MILEAGE SIGN FOR OUR TOWN IN THE MAIN ROOM . AS OTHERS HAVE SAID, BEAUTIFUL VIEWS INCLUDING THE OSPREY NEST THAT YOU CAN WATCH FROM THE BACK SCREENED PORCH. HOUSE CAME WITH A GOLF CART, BICYCLES, BEACH FURNITURE AND WAGONS TO HAUL TO BEACH. THE CART WASN'T MENTIONED ON THE VRBO POSTING SO THAT WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE. COUPLE OF THINGS NEED TO BE MENTIONED , ONE BEDROOM DOES NOT HAVE ANY A/C VENTS SO NO A/C IN THAT ROOM. SEVERAL FANS IN THERE BUT STILL KIND OF STUFFY TO SLEEP. FIVE TELEVISIONS IN THE HOUSE BUT USES ROKU AND CAN ONLY VIEW 3 TELEVISIONS AT ONE TIME. THESE ARE NOT COMPLAINTS JUST THINGS I THINK SHOULD BE INCLUDED AS INFORMATION. GRANDSON CAUGHT A 22 INCH FLOUNDER DURING HIGH TIDE IN THE CHANNEL IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE. WOULD I RENT THIS HOUSE AGAIN, ABSOLUTELY. WOULD I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE ELSE? ONLY IF YOU WANT A GREAT OCEAN FRONT LOCATION IN A NOSTALGIC BEACH HOUSE WITH GREAT PORCHES FOR RELAXING DAYS WATCHING THE OCCASIONAL DOLPHIN POD, THE OSPREYS HUNTING THE OCEAN AND WATCHING THE WORLD GO BY.

The sun rise views in this house amazing. Highly recommend this location!!
