Kate is amazing! She responds in the blink of an eye to my questions. The house is so cozy and comfortable, it almost feels like a home away from home! Both of the times we’ve stayed there our experience was above and beyond what we would expect. The HOT TUB is our must have and very few homes have them, so we’ll be back!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Wonderful home exactly as described. Close to amenities but away from everyone country living. Thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife and plant life. Will need to return so we have time to enjoy the fire pit. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Boulderbelle Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the Boulderbelle Retreat. My sisters and I loved the house and the grounds. The house had a lot of nice touches and it showed that a lot of thought went into making it a comfortable stay for guests. I especially loved all the birds! We are already thinking about when we can come again.

A home away from home

It was an amazing comfortable, welcoming home with everything you could possibly need. We definitely recommend this beautiful home and we will definitely stay here again. We would love to take another trip north with friends and stay here.Hot tub was great kids loved it. Next time we will definitely book a longer stay to hopefully get to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub more. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need from spices to crockpots. Awesome. Thank you for great memories.

Superhost Alert!!

We had an incredible time at this cabin. It was very clean and the rooms/beds were all very nice and comfortable. There were plenty of towels for the hot tub and showers & Kate had great toiletry options! Kate was very accommodating to our requests and was very responsive when we had any questions. 10/10! Will definitely be booking here again!

Lovely property and super responsive hosts

The kitchen was easy to work in and very well-equipped. The high top table by the kitchen was great for prep and quick bites while the larger dining room table was very comfortable for meals and board games. The bathrooms were super clean and the laundry room had a modern and large washer and dryer. Sitting around the fire pit and night you could see the stars and woods but it was far enough from trees and leaves to feel very safe having a fire. The citronella candles were a welcome touch. It was comfortable and quiet yet close to Hermantown amenities. Any questions or problems that arose were IMMEDIATELY taken care of. Thank you so much for that.

Family Vacation!

We could not have been happier with our stay. Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. Property host was great at checking in, and readily available. Most of all we loved the hot tub and fire pit area!

Awesome home in the wilderness

We stayed here for a wedding at Black Ivy. Very convenient location, close to the event center and downtown Duluth. The house was very clean, spacious, very well stocked, coffee bar was awesome, firepit, hot tub. Everything was great.

Great getaway

A wonderful wedding weekend location

We stayed at Kate & Ryans home for a family wedding weekend. The location was ideal for us. Close to the wedding venue and to Duluth. The home was large, spacious, cozy and inviting. I appreciated how clean it was. The large bedrooms and bathrooms allowed us plenty of space for my family. We really loved the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and living area -allowing the adults and grandchildren space to visit and play. Kate was very kind with her communications and feedback. Thank you Kate and Ryan for the oppertunity to stay at your lovely Boulderbelle Retreat. We would love to come back and enjoy your home and all that the North Shore has to offer.

Perfect family getaway
