FORMAL COMPLAINT INACCURATE LISTING AND SAFETY ISSUESWe are requesting a refund due to significant issues impacting our 2 night stay.The listing advertised accommodations for 30 guests across 8 rooms. Upon arrival, only 7 rooms were available unless the cottage was requested 3 days prior, which was not disclosed. Our group could not be properly accommodated. One guest slept on chairs and others used couches due to unusable rooms with spiders in the beds.We did not receive a check in code and had to call multiple times to gain access.The main house had cleanliness and safety concerns including hair and spiders in beds, dirty floors, insufficient towels (23 for 30 guests), and smoke detectors beeping. We were told to unplug them.The cottage, opened on day 2 after we followed up, was not prepared. Maintenance arrived late. It had stained bedding, used sheets, broken glass from a fan, unstable bedframes, a leaking toilet, dirty bathroom, leftover food, clothing, and prescription medication. We disposed of the medication, replaced bedding, and sanitized the space ourselves.The host requested phone communication, directed us to maintenance, suggested off platform reimbursement, and did not check in during the stay.The property was misrepresented, unsafe, and not properly cleaned. We request a refund.
