Breakfast advertised but not provided. Room well supplied but cold on arrival and didn’t warm up until en of day 2. The bed was comfortable but we have stayed in previous years and the service is not as good now. "

"We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! "Peter was very welcoming upon our arrival. The cleanliness is exceptional, and is amongst the best we have ever experienced. Thought has been given to the smallest detail, The interior design, decor and ambiance is outstanding. Dave and Peter serve up a wholesome breakfast treat, which on its own makes us want to return. "A thoroughly enjoyable one night stay at The Beach hut. Many thoughtful extras made for a relaxed and comfortable break. Fresh milk in a fridge, also some half bottles of wine, were most welcome! The room was delightful, calm and well decorated, also peaceful, despite facing the road. Parking at the rear slightly hazardous as there’s a rookery to avoid! We took some mementos home on our car windscreen. Wonderful choice of breakfasts! "
