Texas's Trip 2022.

We requested a room with 2 beds and were given a handicap accessible room with 1 king instead. Had to get a rollaway cot that was quite uncomfortable for my 17 year old daughter. They placed us on the first floor adjacent to the elevator where we heard the gears of the elevator until well past midnight when traffic settled down. This was in addition to the road noise and noise of people entering and exiting the hotel in general. This room should be storage and not a guest room. Worst hotel sleep ever. The breakfast was fair. I have had much better but I have also had worse. Only hot item was a waffle station, basically yogurt and cereal, juice and coffee. Definitely not worth the price. I could have and should have done a VRBO for less money and a better experience. Likely will not stay here again. Location is good; closest hotel to LA TECH which is why I chose it, but otherwise found it to be dark, only reasonably clean and A/C was not cold enough despite lowering the temp multiple times.

The staff was Awesome! I wish they would have a makeup mirror in the bathroom or a second mirror near the beds. The rooms were clean but the people in the room above us were extremely noisy late into the night!

Courtney is always nice and professional. Such a bubbly person..makes you feel welcome every time. Donna Cole is such a sweet lady. She is always engaging with the customers. I have stayed here before Courtney and Donna made my decision for next stay. I truly recommend this establishment and I will be staying here again. I hate that they are sold out during Memorial Weekend.

The staff is outstanding, welcoming, and professional. Donna and Sheila in the Dinning area truly go over and above in making you feel special. They help to ensure you have everything you desire, and often help those struggling with food preparation or carrying their plates. What a beautiful environment.

Nice room with a comfortable bed, TV. Shower water pressure was just OK, not great, and it took a long time for the shower to heat up. Good breakfast with several hot options (waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy) and a nice spread of other food (yogurt, toast, etc), fresh juice and hot beverages, including hot cocoa. Pool was warm and hot tub was hot and in nice working condition. There were plenty of towels in the pool room. We didn't end up using the fitness center but it looked nice. Hotel is right off the highway and there was a nice Mexican restaurant just a couple of minutes away by car. We would stay here again.

Our suite needed a remodel or refresher. However, all the staff were extremely friendly. In particular Donna who was in charge of breakfast. She went out of her way to not only make sure everything was cleaned and stocked she went above and beyond to not only go out of her way to help guest, she also got to know them and showed genuine care. I observed her both mornings of our stay for over an hour and was so impressed. I saw her help guest who bringing breakfast to their room with covers and bag to be able to carry it to their room easily. I am sure this also helped housekeeping because it kept the guest from making a mess in halls and elevators which I have seen them do at other hotels. I would stay here again just because of this very genuine caring friendly breakfast attendee who obviously loves her job and guest.

Lady at front desk was very informative and nice. But probably would not stay here again. Walked in room, Q-tip on floor, not that big a deal but the two pair of underwear, just assuming dirty by the way they were thrown in drawer under the microwave. Lady at desk was right on getting it taken care of but the fact remains, this should not have happened.

Great stopover in Ruston
Our second stay this month. We really like this property. We stopped on our way from Texas to Florida and again on our way back. It appears the employees have changed but the service was still top notch. Great mattresses in the room. Easy access for visible parking from the room. Good hot water in the shower. Good selection of television programs. One the best breakfasts we have had when a "free" breakfast was included. We typically drive 400-500 miles a day when traveling and those are the things that matter to us. This is a great fit for our needs.

Great place to stay and priced perfect!
Perfect place to stay. This place was so clean and the beds were so comfortable. Great service and great location! Price was excellent and even had a great breakfast buffet which was included. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back next time Family gets together again.

Dalton,I'm sorry if it was noisy the Interstate in front of the hotel is not a real busy road but each person is different. Were you able to contact the front desk about the thermostat, most of time it is an easy fit.
