  • Beds for 12, plenty of room for more! Bring the whole family and all your friends to enjoy this fully furnished rustic rock cabin nestled on 14 acres adjoining Petit Jean State Park. The children will love the rock wall-accessed play loft, the tree fort, trampoline, swing set, and Wii. Enjoy outdoor cooking in the rock fire pit or grill. Relax on the vaulted screened-in porch or soak in a candle lit jacuzzi tub. The exposed beam great room is the perfect place to play board games, cards, watch a movie, or bask in the flames from the central stone fireplace. The Rock House Cabin is the perfect home-base to stage your romantic mountain wedding at the Pavilion or Red Bluff Overlook. Whether you need to bring the whole family, have a girls' getaway, want to scrapbook, plan a reunion, anniversary, or a romantic escape, the Rock House Cabin can accommodate your needs. We specialize in making your stay special! Contact us with all your special requests. *Note: not wheelchair accessible, as there are single steps from the dining room to the living room, into the kitchen, and into the back bedrooms.

Perfect house for young children.

Wonderful location with close proximity to Petit Jean State Park. Rock House Cave trail is right across the street. The cabin was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. There was no firewood in the rack when we arrived but we were able to forage wood from the forest floor and we spent a lot of time sitting around the campfire. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. There was a nice screened in porch with a picnic table and a daybed.

Great Place

This place was awesome! Super spacious with plenty of room for big groups. Very clean, great hosts, and an awesome location inside Petit Jean State park. The Christmas tree was a great touch! My family plans to stay here again.

Great location!

The location was our favorite part of our stay!! It’s very close to lots of great things, including the turtle rocks that we loved! We had a couple complaints, the Wii wouldn’t read any of the games and my kids were disappointed about that and our kids said that 2 of the bunk bed room mattresses had really uncomfortable springs in their backs all night. Overall, it was a nice stay for our group of 12!

Extended family vacation

We had our first big extended family vacation and all stayed here together. The house was perfect for all of our needs and conveniently located for all the tings we did in the state park. We loved our stay and will book again if we return to Petit Jean mountain

Layout of the house was incredible. Best place to see the 2024 solar eclipse. Even the weather was perfect.

Family gathering

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was roomy. The location was great. Rental could use a deep cleaning inside and out and maybe some updating. We still were satisfied and spent most of our time hiking.

Rock house was Perfect for our family . Close to Everything. Took 20 years to come back ( seemed like yesterday) share with Grandchildren….make New memories and share old ones. Thank you for such a Wonderful place to stay.

Very clean and perfect location.

The hosts respond very fast, the property is clean and stocked with everything we needed, and the trampoline and fire pit were a big hit with my family. You can also walk across the street and be at a trail head. Amazing location. We’ll be back.

Rustic gem!

Jeff and Sarah were awesome hosts. They were quick to respond, friendly, and helpful. The location was perfect for us as it was convenient to our relative and all the amenities of Petit Jean. The house was large and easily accomodated our group of 10. The house was well stocked with all we needed. We would definitely stay there again. accaaccomaccommodate

Weekend stay

The property was just as expected. Very rustic and large. Kitchen was well stocked. Perfect location! We walked to the Turtle rocks and cave. The lodge, restaurant, and many other trails were only a short drive away. Nice stay! Thanks!

Great House in a Great Location

We were looking for a reunion location near hiking, biking, food, and attractions. The Rock House near Petit Jean State Park, AR is perfect. The House is comfortable and easy for our group of eight. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable dining and sleeping facilities and supplies. No problems. We recommend the Rock House and hope to stay there again.

Quaint and Comfortable Property

We had a friend-cation and our entire group LOVED the location, the hiking, fishing, swimming, etc. The property owner was responsive and friendly. Kitchen was well-stocked with basic cooking utensils, pots, and pans. A/C worked well. If cell service is top priority, you may need to travel as the location is remote and not all of us had cell service. Wi-fi is available and of moderate speed. Overall, I would highly recommend this property. It was such an enjoyable location and quaint home. We would absolutely book again.

Family Christmas

This was an excellent choice for our family members to celebrate our 2022 Christmas together. At first, our entrance code did not work. It only took a quick phone call to the property manager to get it resolved. Very nicely decorated for the season. It was very well stocked and clean. The fireplace added a very nice touch for our pictures. We would go again if the opportunity arises.
