Beautiful comfortable home with amazing views.

It's a beautiful large home with amazing views and comfortable beds. Dishes that had been put away in the cabinet did have food residue on them. Pots and pans need to be updated..it is an extremely convenient place to stay. We enjoyed it very much The management contacted us and we texted back and forth. The Master bedroom was awesome but could use more lighting.

Ruidoso family trip

We loved our stay in Dalhousie. Host was very friendly and in communication with us. House was clean and very well stocked. The deck and views are amazing. We had lots of sightings of wildlife while there. Mule deer, elk and ponies. House was conveniently located to town.

Spacious Cabin in the Woods

We really enjoyed the location of the property, the views were fantastic. We arrived Friday during a snow storm and Saturday morning we woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland. We watched the snow melt Saturday, and then Sunday morning we had elk and deer all around the cabin. We just had a couple minor issues with our stay. The cabin clothes dryer would not work. The water machine at Albertsons was out of order and we could not refill the cabin drinking water containers.

Fabulous Property!!

This property is a dream located right in the middle of everything Ruidoso has to offer! We had 11 family members stay. There is so much space to spread out and enjoy the mountains! We hope to stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed the back deck! It was spacious with lots of lounging & seating options! Large indoor dining table mostly used for games!! All in all, a great fit for our family! Location was good with plenty of privacy! Some wildlife spotted also. Thanks for sharing!!

Beautiful and convenient!

We had such an amazing experience at this property! We came with 3 families with school aged children. The bedroom setup was perfect! Great communication and had everything we needed for meals and space. It was situated in such a convenient place. 30 minutes for skiing, 10 Minutes or less from the winter park for tubing, arcade, downtown, and grocery store. Incredible for large groups. Plenty of seating, inside and out, etc. Thank you for sharing it with us! Would love to come again and would book this if available!

Cobwebs the Least of our Worries

The house was somewhat of a Disappointment. To have to pay for cleaning, whoever does it doesn’t do a very good job. Dishes were dirty and had to be rewashed, some lightbulbs out, blender didn’t work, chairs broken, screen doors had holes if there even was a screen door, NO A/C! listing says nothing about No A/C, fire pit on deck has a cover screwed down over it so it cannot be used-pics in listing do not show this cover therefore you think oh it would be nice to make a fire in the pit at night and sit around the fire and visit(just like I thought)obviously that didn’t happen. Refrigerator upstairs did not work correctly, fridge part wouldn’t get cold, freezer part wouldn’t freeze. Called Ruidoso contact & she Wouldn’t Answer, she returned my call an hour later & said she would come look at it, close to four hours later still nobody showed up. Called her again No Answer, Called Owner No Answer. Sent owner text, little later she replied but by that time I was so disappointed with the service I just decided to use the ice chests we thankfully brought. There is a downtstairs fridge but with the cost of the rental All Appliances Should Work! Owner said fridge had been looked at week before, so this fridge repair guy might also be doing the cleaning because neither was done well. When we showed up to checkin a groundskeeper was on-site cleaning up??? Shouldn’t cleaning be completed before guests arrive? Listing says no back to back bookings due to cleaning(which I already said was bad)between stays, yet in the guest book there was an entry from the day before so clearly that isn’t true. House is dated with several broken things throughout the house. The house had a good floor plan and did have nice views off the deck which was very spacious and quite enjoyable in the evenings. Overall I don’t feel the rental was worth the money I spent.

Fabulous Home with Awesome Views

What an experience getting married in this fabulous home. Everything was perfect for a family wedding close to everything and beautiful views of the mountains. Would recommend it for anyone with a large family. Julie was great and answered all the questions.

The property was very nice inside. The outside looks a little outdated but the openness of the floor plan and the patio make it hard to beat. We had a great time and would recommend this property to anyone in the future.
