Riverside Retreat was very accommodating for our larger group. Plenty of room and very clean. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the game room and the backyard space/hot tub! Would definitely choose this house again.

Every issue was resolved promptly. It was a great place for the whole family. We very much enjoyed our stay. Mattress’s are very firm not my ideal sleeping situation.

We enjoyed the hot tub and walking down to the river. We played many games of pool, air hockey, and ping pong. The kids loved the arcade games.

Our stay was wonderful! Easy check in! Host was very accomadating and stayed in touch with us about the hot tub that needed repairs. They even had a repairman come late in the evening to fix it for us. Home is lovely. One of the best stocked kitchens of any home we have stayed in. Lots of amenities. Home is even more beautiful than the pics. Highly recommend staying here and hope to stay here again!

Our Family loved thus property. it was very clean and lots of room for the Kids and Grandkids. We loved the Games and back yard. The only complaint is that we got a bad review from the owner. I am unsure why; we washed all the dishes and cleaned up after ourselves. I would like to know why they gave us a poor rating. Very sad. We always stay in beautiful places, and we always make sure we keep everything neat and tidy. Not sure why the poor review.

Great Location

House is perfect for large group, plenty of space indoor and out. Amenities are awesome, game room was enjoyed by entire family. Kitchen and seating is more thane we expected. I strongly recommend ths property.

Great place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was better than the photos showed. It was clean and in a central location to everything. Games and arcade were a hit with the kids.

The house was beautiful and very well stocked. However, two weeks prior to our arrival, the homeowner decided to put in a 5ft retaining wall. I understand the need for the wall due to an anticipated storm, however we should have been notified so we could find an alternate location. The wall blocked the entire view of the river from the backyard, which was the entire reason we booked the location. There was not a back gate to access the river so we had to walk around the house and down a slope to access it. My older parents were unable to access the river since they couldn’t walk down the slope alone and they couldn’t sit outside and see the river as we anticipated with a “Riverside Retreat.” The grass/weeds needed to be cut as they were too tall and looked messy. However, the house itself was very well stocked and clean. It was just as described on the site. We were able to cook as a family due to how well the kitchen was stocked, which was very enjoyable. In addition, we loved the games in the garage. We played plenty of pool! To summarize, the house and location were beautiful but there was a huge disappointment due to the retaining wall, even though we understand the need to protect the house. We just wish we would have been notified so we could have made alternate arrangements. I highly advise that the description be updated online if it has not been already and that the owners call any existing customers who have booked the location to notify them.
