Beautiful view, clean house, and fully equiped, close to town. TIhe Mountain coaster is a must do, and Fort Stanton, and Lincoln ( Billy the Kid ) a must see.

Loved this place. My wife and I spent Valentines weekend here and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife around us every morning. We even had a bit of a surprise right when we were about to leave. We had at least a dozen deer hanging around the front and back part of the house so we stuck around for another 15-20 minutes just to watch them. The place was clean and way more space than the two of us needed, It was a great experience overall. Thank you for letting us enjoy your place.

The balcony was peaceful and beautiful! The weather was perfect, and we had a wonderful time exploring the surrounding area! The kitchen was set up very well. However, the sink wasn’t cleaned very well, so I cleaned it to my satisfaction. I also felt the need to clean the washer. The carpet downstairs had many stains on it. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well. The host was friendly, good communication.

3 day getaway

We drove down from ABQ with our lab! The bedrooms were sizable and the overall layout was good. View out kitchen was lovely! Location is close to downtown but quiet such that you hear mostly only the wind thru the trees, birds chirping in the morning, etc. Really enjoyed seeing elk and wild horses on walks (just fyi steep elevations)!

Perfectly quiet and close to town

We went for a visit to the city for quiet and just being together and we got the best place! There were Elk, Turkeys, coyotes, birds, and small ground animals off the deck and front porch which we loved. We sat on front and back porches to read or just listen and we so enjoyed it. The grocery is fabulous and so close, did breakfast at Jorge’s in the morning and cooked in the other meals. House had everything they listed. Beds are comfy, shower was perfect, and lay out was great with two decks. Road to and from was typical to this town- narrow and winding. Wild horses on the road to town was the best!!

Even better than expected!

The pictures do not do this cabin justice. It is beautiful, comfortable, and in a quiet area. The view from the deck is spectacular, especially in the mornings when the sunrise makes the mountains look pink.

We were very pleased with the ease of check in.The house is as seen on the web sight. Comfortable with everything we needed. We were cozy and the bed was comfortable. Loved being able to have a fire with the flick of a switch. The views are outstanding.

Cute Adobe Cabin

This adorable adobe-style cabin in Ruidoso is even cuter and cozier than in the photos! It is in the Upper Canyon area, and is relatively spaced out from the neighbors compared to a lot of cabins I’ve seen in the Ruidoso area. So, there is a little more of an isolated calm vibe. Of course while still being very close to everything at the same time. It has a perfect view of the Sierra Blanca, and there were deer and turkeys seen regularly. I am a big stickler on cleanliness, and this place was definitely clean. Bed was super comfortable and we slept very well. The neighbor across the street that lives there full time has dogs, and one of them did bark for awhile on our first night there, but I never heard him again. I would advise bringing a white noise machine or fan to drown that out if it does happen, but that was really the only downside (and again, it was only once for a little while). We would definitely stay here again :)

Perfect getaway for a small group

The cabin is tucked away in the mountains in the perfect spot to feel private but not scarily isolated. Super clean and quiet spot. Beautiful peaceful views from the balcony’s.

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

Nestled in the whispering pines of Ruidoso. Beautiful 2 bedroom 21/2 bath beauty. The neighborhood was quiet, cool and clean. Watch the hummingbirds on the balcony, See the occasional deer strolling by as well as turkeys. As an added bonus, hear the Elk bugling in the canyons. Great experience, great location.

Bedroom location misunderstanding

My husband isn't able to do stairs very well, and we kept confirming that the master bedroom was on the 1st level. We were told that BOTH of the bedrooms were on the first level. However, we didn't realize that the rest of the house was on the 2nd level, which meant we had stairs. Next time we will confirm that it's a 1-story property, so that we don't have stairs to contend with. That was our only problem. Otherwise, the cabin was awesome!!

Review

Beautiful property great views very private would definitely stay again. The water pump is very loud and the Wi-Fi didn’t. FYI not a big deal but the garbage disposal didn’t work.
