It was the perfect get away place after having a hecktick work month. My family enjoyed this location especially my 3year old who woke up every morning to see the deer in tge back yard .

Couldn’t ask for more

This property is amazing! The house is well furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped. The deck was the perfect spot to sit and listen to the river and watch wild horses, deer, and elk walk right by. I hope to stay there again soon!

We loved our little cabin! It was the perfect size for the perfect weekend! The river was a beautiful touch! We had everything we needed. Would definitely book again!

Nice property in a beautiful location.

This property is right next to the Ruidoso River. We could hear the gurgling creek throughout our stay. Deer and elk would walk along the river daily. The property has a large outdoor porch that is wonderful for gathering, dining, or simply sitting and enjoying. It is a well done property. The property has three indoor living areas, including a large game room that overlooks the river and a dining area. We had communication difficulties with the property manager. We had a toilet that was not functioning properly. The property management needs to improve their communication methods. They did not respond to a call, text message, or an email via Vrbo. The day after we checked out, we again called one of the numbers. It turns out this was a private cell phone of one of the agents. She was occupied with a move and unable to return a call or text. Apparently, we did not call the main office number. Even so, the agent needs to be in communication via the Vrbo channel. Definitely recommend the property. Not real thrilled with the management company’s lack of communication.

Beautiful

Beautiful property, our second time staying there in over 10 years and the place is amazing as the first time we stayed there. If you want a place to relax with your family, this place is your place. Major plus is the water stream right next to its door step.

Wonderful home with sounds of the river outside your door!

Home was incredible with all the comforts of home! Plenty of room to have privacy. Bedrooms were perfect & comfortable. The large deck was great to enjoy the beautiful weather and hear the river and see many deer & elk. Loved every minute. Will definitely stay here again!

Very clean, great aesthetic and having the river run right behind the property was the main selling point. What a relaxing view while drinking your morning coffee or sitting in the hot tub!

Relaxation station!

A Stone's Thoreau was much better than advertised. The sound of the Rio Ruidoso is wonderful and relaxing. The hot tub was also nice on cool nights. The inside is very nice and clean; love the way you can look out the dining room window and see the Rio Ruidoso and the fall scenery -- we ate all of our meals there as a family. Master bedroom had plenty of room and closet space; both bathrooms were nice. Kitchen very nice; all sheets and towels were good. TV and internet worked great. Just right for four or five people. You can be on Meachem in like 2 minutes; and no steep hills to worry about. Figuring out which driveway it is was a little tricky the first time, but you can't beat this place. We'll definitely stay here again.

This was by far our most memorable stay in Ruidoso all because of the rental experience with Cozy Cabins and the wonderful property and its amenities. I’m already looking at a calendar to book our next stay. Office staff were very nice and offered to accommodate our schedule.
