Refused to stay in them and made them change me to the hotel which was OK. The site is very shabby and derelict. But hotel is modern. Nothing to do for children. Wouldn't stay again."

"Fabulous property with very helpful staff. Ran the local Parkrun and missed breakfast time but was made some fantastic bacon sandwiches when we both returned to the guest house. Staff was very accommodating which made the visit very enjoyable."

"Check in was very efficient and she answered our questions quickly. Her dining recommendation was very solid. Delightful room with essentially a glass wall, lots of light. Nice bedding, lighting, kettle coffee/tea, furnishings. Quite a bit of people noise and room door lock beeping in the hallway. "Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and the one meal we had in the restaurant was great too. It's a little old fashioned in style which adds to its charm. They started breakfast early due to people going to the Open golf which was helpful. Only small negatives were the mid week breakfast finish time of 8.30am which seems a bit early (although they did serve a couple at 9am with no fuss) and the shower flow was not great. Overall would recommend to others."

"The staff was very helpful but thought the price was very high as I only paid £ 57 for a night in a 4 star hotel with sea view on the Thursday week before as it was a last minute booking like this was I didn’t realise it was above a pub and with an awful view out the window and the pillow gave me neck ache but staff changed it no bother very helpful I lee"
