"It was the perfect location. We had a fun day trip to Taquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point. We also enjoyed the casino in Sault Ste Marie and even ventured over the river to Hiawatha Highlands for snowshoeing. Loved the warm fireplace and view! The bed was comfy and cozy too. "

Linens were not cleaned, beds were not made, bathroom and floors were not clean, landscaping trash in the yard and the kitchen countertops were dirty. The space had an unusual odor that was quite off-putting. We were told that the owner had stayed and self-cleaned. Our host had their cleaning service dispatched immediately and cleaned the space after we arrived. If you plan to stay, make sure the space has been cleaned and serviced...

"It rained our 2 nights here so we only could use indoor features. We didn't find any of the furniture comfortable and had to go out and buy pillows as the ones provided were very flat and stiff. Also to note for anyone with mobility issues, the steps to get to the front door and indoor steps (house is a split level) are pretty steep. Views of the river were nice and liked the fairly isolated location."

"The house is tucked away behind trees so it's not visible from the highway. Lighting at the doorway going into the garage where you enter the house. The house has nice big windows facing the lake. Beautiful view all day. The house is very roomy and lots of space to spread out. Outside is a porch with lawn chairs so you can send on the porch and the enjoy the view. There is also a small charcoal grill, table and chairs and off to the side of the porch is a fire pit. Kid friendly yard and house."
