A lovely centrally located property which is full of character, from the compact courtyard seating area which was a lovely sun trap in the late afternoons, to the spacious living area and comfortable bedrooms. The host was very attentive and provide comprehensive welcome information and assistance throughout the stay. The town itself is lovely - we wished we could have stayed longer!

PERFECT place to stay!

Loved every single thing about staying here: wonderful accommodating host, PERFECT location right next to high street and The Pantiles, gorgeous garden to sit in, extremely comfortable bed and couches, gorgeous bathtub, adorable little lane to walk on, and just the most beautiful view over Tunbridge Wells. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, in fact, I fully plan to in the future!

Perfect Location!

The Stables was such a great place to stay while visiting Tunbridge Wells. It was so clean and the beds were comfortable. It is such a beautiful place, and the location is perfect! You can easily walk anywhere in Tunbridge Wells, or walk a few minutes away to the train station for day trips. I would highly recommend it!

Cute place in top location

This property was perfect for our three nights in Tunbridge Wells to visit family. Everything was a short stroll away and we loved sitting out in the courtyard enjoying the indian summer. The cottage is very quiet and is well fitted out for a comfortable stay. Can definitely recommend this gem.

Lovely cosy cottage close to everything

The cottage is very cosy with everything you need. It's close to all amenities and the train station but quiet and private. Communication with the host Claire was excellent and clear and she was very attentive to make sure I had everything I needed. I had a really relaxing stay here recharging my batteries after Xmas!

Beautiful cottage for bridal party

I rented this property for myself and bridal party and my new husbands and my honeymoon suite. The cottage was clean and cosy perfect for our relaxed vibe. Claire was extreamly accommodating and easy to contact if i had any questions. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend. Xx

Wat een heerlijk huis in het charmante Royal Tunbridge Wells! Het ligt rustig, een beetje heuvelopwaarts en midden in het stadscentrum. Het treinstation is 10 minuten lopen, met er tegenover een supermarkt. Het huis is erg ruim, licht en voelt heel knus aan. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien m.b.t. koken, eten etc. De badkamer heeft een bad. De grote slaapkamer heeft een royaal bed met luxueus beddengoed. Ik heb er heerlijk geslapen. De binnentuin heeft een tafel en zitjes met veel bloemenpracht eromheen. De correspondentie met Claire was heel goed en gezellig. Zij stuurt de huisregels en tevens van tevoren de code voor de toegang. Ook stond er een grote fles appel/bessen limonade voor ons klaar met snacks. Om bij te dragen aan een duurzamere wereld, moet je afval keurig scheiden en zijn er tips om zorgvuldig om te gaan met energie en water. Alle kleine beetjes helpen :) Een tien plus voor dit huis en de gastvrouw!

Cosy Cottage Retreat in a Stunning Area

Claire was friendly and welcoming throughout the experience, we felt very cared for. Thank you so much, Claire.The Stables Cottage is conveniently located within a 10 minute walk from Tunbridge Wells Train Station, you do not need a car for this break away. An absolutely beautiful shopping and dining out experience awaits visitors along the High Street and The Pantiles, with creatively designed shop windows, arty clothes and craft items, exquisite food served in cafes and restaurants, this is a wonderful treat.Claire recommended that we dine at The Beacon, which overlooks Rusthall Common, it is a truly amazing experience with a glorious walk back down through Rusthall Common and The Common, into The Pantiles shopping area. The Stables Cottage is beautifully decorated, with amazing attention to detail and everything visitors need. It is well designed, has a luxurious deep bath and waterfall shower, comfy king size bed and the location is ideal, down a quiet, cobbled lane, but close enough in town to have easy access to everything the High Street has to offer (just a short 2 minute walk down the lane)We were so very comfortable at The Stables Cottage, we had a marvellous time and hope to return soon. The Stables is a stylishly designed little Cottage in the Heart of Tunbridge Wells, a convenient 10 minute walk from Tunbridge Wells Station (direct Train from London Bridge) and close to all the shops. There's so much to see and do in the area, with the beautiful Kent countryside on your doorstep (Knole Castle with roaming Fallow Deer in the grounds - a short 20 minute train ride to Sevenoaks and then bus or taxi).This is our second visit to stay at The Stables. We went for a roam around all the quaint little Artisan Shops in the Pantiles and beyond, along the High Street, there's so much original craftwork to peruse, and Art Galleries to pop into. The shopping is extensive, to the North of the High Street, past Tunbridge Wells train station, there's further boutiques and familiar High Street brands, and around this area there's the beautiful Calverley Grounds, it's really pretty in Winter and a very welcoming Italian Restaurant...Stelle D'Italia, which my husband and I very much enjoyed. Upon checking out of The Stables, we went to a lovely little Cafe with the most relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, The Lodge, just as you turn right off the bottom of Frog Lane, the breakfast choice is extensive and our selection of The Lodge Breakfast was very nice indeed.Claire, the Host, is really lovely and so helpful with anything that you need. Thank you so much Claire, and Jane, for all your efforts during our stay.... We will definitely plan to come back.

Cozy, comfortable, perfect cottage.

This is a true gem. Decorated and furnished to a high standard. Close to restaurants, pubs, shopping, train station, and parks. Paid parking available nearby, or at Pantilles (about a six or seven minute walk) if the nearby lot is full.

charming cottage

We could not fault either the cottage or the location, both were perfect. Just a 1 minute walk down pretty Frog Lane to the nicer end of the High Street and from there just another minute to the Pantiles. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped, and everything worked.

The Stables

Lovely property, located in the old part of town with a 'village' feel (pubs and restaurants nearby and The Pantiles a short walk) with everything we wanted and in the perfect location for us to explore Tunbridge Wells. Claire made us feel very welcome and made every effort to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We will hope to stay there again.
