"We really enjoyed our stay at the Tickled Trout. All the staff were really friendly and attentive. Our room was lovely . It was really warm when we were there as it was in the middle of a heatwave. We took a fan with us although they did say there were some available. There was a small window in our room which looked out onto a fairly busy road so could be quite noisy if window was open. "I was flying from Canada. As soon as I've landed in Gatwick, they called me to cancel my reservation stating they overbooked. I had to sleep on the floor at the airport with my 15 years old daughter as all the other hotels were fully booked. If I go back to Gatwick, I won't reserve with them. Bad experience. On another note, Expedia were there to help me. They've been in touch, contacted other hotels. They did everything possible to help me."
