I was so pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem, away from all the hustle. Close to the lake, campground and had its own big yard with a beautiful fireplace and play area for kids. The bedrooms/kitchen/living area were spacious and as described in the property listing and the communication with the host was great. I would definitely rent again. Few things to note, (were not a deal breaker for us) There was no Iron and Ironing Board also the bathrooms did not have hair dryers. Also note there is no Laundry inside the house. However, I would still give this place a 5 star and definitely rent it again if i ever go back to this area.

We enjoyed all the different spaces! We spent a lot of time together outside by the fire pit, but when we were inside there was plenty of room for everyone.

Great location and really big sized house - perfect for a larger group. We only ended up using two of the rooms. Backyard was great for kids with a playset and fully fenced backyard. Nice location just a 5 min drive to the marina if renting a boat and basically across the street from the little store if you forgot anything. I would say that WiFi would be really nice as the cell service is poor. Also the water gets dangerously hot, maybe management could tweak the heater so it doesn’t. My husband burned his hand and could get scary for kids who can turn on the faucet but not adjust well. Lastly, very strong plug in air fresheners were used, which I wasn’t a fan of, so just unplugged and left a few windows open for a few hours and most of the scent cleared out.

We were pleased to see, we were closer to the water than we thought. This dock was right out the back. The water was clear enough, the kids enjoyed watching the fish & went fishing off of the dock.We rented a pontoon boat from nearby marina & the lake was beautiful, with a lot of small islands to stop at. Check in was easy. Plenty of bedroom space

Ample cooking equipment to be able to cook family meals each evening. Suggest adding a handrail on steps from second level to third level.

Favorite place to stay with a group!

We love staying at the Brady House with our friends every year. The house is set up great for multiple families. The staff was very helpful and responsive when we needed anything. We always plan to come back each year for a great time!

Great family weekend

We loved staying at the Brady house, all 14 of us! It was basically clean except for the return a/c vents which were really dirty. The commode downstairs had to be manually flushed since the flapper wasn't working. The tv in the main living area was not hooked up and the house had no wi-fi. There is definitely no early check-in like most places. We inquired, noticing there were no cars in the driveway, 20 minutes before check-in time, but were denied a key so we couldn't unload our items for the refrigerator. But it is a great location to the lake and the boat dock. The playground in the back yard was great for our little ones. It could be a really beautiful house with a little landscaping and tlc.

Family Reunion at the Brady House

Our family has done family reunions here for over 30years. The house remodel is a big improvement! Kitchen very well equipped, we were able to have family dinners every evening. Since some of us are older and for safety reasons, we would like to have a sturdier handrail on stairs from ground level to main floor and have handrail added to stairs to top level. The new tiny houses were great to accommodate those who did not fit in the big house. Looking forward to future visits!

Perfect

This is the first time we did VRBO with our whole family. Adult children, spouses and one grandchild under 2. The first floor was the perfect suite for the parents and little one. We enjoyed the primary suit and shower. No complaints from the two couples that shared the 3rd full bath. We were close to the lake where we rented a boat to see the eclipse and close enough to town to enjoy those amenities

Great place

We stayed at this resort for my mother's 95th Birthday, and rented this house and multiple others for the 40+ people who attended. The Brady house was a perfect gathering spot for the family, and was set up nicely for the small children who stayed there. The laundry service was a plus! (Particularly since there was no washer/dryer.) It was a bit disappointing that the restaurant was closed down d/t water damage? and the hours were limited. Not a big problem for us, as we did a lot of cooking, but it might be an issue for some.

Brady-tastic

The property is well maintained and the wholesome house makes you feel like your right at home. The space was open and free flowing, so warm and inviting. So many opportunities for a family to have a great time. The only mistake made was not booking a longer stay.
