We spent 7 nights at this homestay. Christian is a wonderful host. Our flight was delayed and we missed our connection - consequently my aunt arrived a full day before us and he helped her navigate to the rental by herself in the dark. Christian answered all of our calls. The house is beautiful & oozes charm. Everything worked as it should. The photos on VRBO do not do it justice. The house is very well set up for a vacation rental - no photos of someones family on the walls, lots of books and DVDs, great internet, plenty of storage for our clothes and things, all the local tourist informational pamphlets, clean white bedding, dishwasher, hot hot water for bathing, 4 toilettes, 2 showers, 1 claw foot bathtub, full size washer, dryer was ok but there are 2 large dry lines outside. The cooling pool (imagine a cool large not-hot hot tub) was great. The outdoor grill was great for cooking without heating up the house. There is no AC available so it can get warm in the late evening - we were staying in July and temperatures were over 90F most days, but opening all the windows around 10PM and closing everything up around 10AM kept things comfortable. We cooked our dinners there most evenings and the kitchen felt very gourmet and very well stocked - the knives were dull but I sharpened them the best I could. Everything in the village is just a few minutes walk. Parking can be a challenge. The garage could fit a small fiat 500 or similar but did not fit our Jeep or our 5+2 Citroen. We were able to park one car along a wall behind the unit although I am still unsure if that was legal or not, it seemed the residents had a special sticker to park in these areas - regardless we did not get a ticket. There is also a long term parking lot for 3 Euros per day behind the Vival grocery store about a 5 minute walk. We did make the mistake of parking overnight in the central parking lot (which is free from 21:00h to 9:00h if I recall correctly) on market day and our car was towed. The local police were very friendly and helpful - they drove us to where the car was towed and the towing fee was a fraction of what you would pay in the U.S. Roussillon is beautiful. Lots of english speakers running the local businesses. Lots of tourist during the day, but we spent most days touring around the Luberon so we didn't see them too much. The town was very quiet in the mornings until about 10:00h and after 17:00h.
I am out of characters - Overall, great, I recommend.
