Weekend in the rain :)

Perfect of our team of two couples. The attached garage was a complete bonus in the pouring rain. Four E-bikers with a lot of gear to dry before heading out again. Central location and lovely neighbours.

Lovely hosts, great property

Exactly as described: cozy, quiet, convenient. The unit was perfect for our group of three, including a couple of us with mobility issues. Well set-up and equipped, and friendly, prompt communication from hosts. Will definitely stay again!

Clean

While the property was very clean and well put together there was one major issue we ran into. No where in the listing did I see anything requiring that we provide our own sheets and towels for the rental so this caught us by surprise when I received the check-in instructions. Even more complicated by the fact that I was traveling internationally and didn’t receive the email until the day before check-in due to connectivity issues in the airports. Finding out this at such a late notice was certainly an unpleasant surprise and will likely lead to problems at the property in the future. Thankfully my sister was able to lend us some because or we would have had to go out and purchase these items adding expenses to our trip. I have stayed in multiple properties and this was a first. I understand wanting to keep fees low but there was still a substantial cleaning fee for needing to provide our own linens. Future renters make sure to plan ahead.

We loved our stay in Rotorua! Antony and Stephanie's home was the perfect location to call home for a week. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the back yard was a perfect place to relax after big adventures. They were very accommodating with our international travels and provided us with bed linen ls as well

3 day stay

The first impression was good. Bed was comfortable. The armchairs were nice. Unfortunately there were are ants in the kitchen. On the walls, ceiling, floor. There were spiderwebs on the legs and undersides of the dining chairs which were damaged and vinyl was cracked. Kitchen looked good but was a bit damaged, drawers difficult to open. It was disappointing that there was no working wifi, turned on and off and tried it all. Looked back at the check in instructions and all it said was "wifi- working on it". Overall an ok stay, but for the price would have expected it to have wifi and be cleaner.

Great Neighborhood

This is a new to VRBO rental. It is in a wonderful neighborhood, close to many attractions and restaurants. We found the house to be clean with a fully stocked kitchen. The one missing was Wi-Fi. I think it is just a switchover issue and has been remedied.

Close to town, good garden space, really comfortable bed

Comfy bed, coffee plunger and 'proper coffee' maker, little bowls for olives, solid cutlery- this has all the bits and bobs that you need for a great stay- and easy walk to supermarket and town centre too. Thanks guys.
