We loved our stay and the home. Had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the pool and the wildlife in the canal. (Alligators, turtles and birds). Super close to beaches and had lots of beach gear to borrow. Didn’t have a wagon but we brought our own, so no worries. Only problem was the air conditioning regulation. It got warm a couple of times, but as soon as we messaged the owner, they made it right. We would definitely stay again.

Nice location and views. But, the house has a terrible cooling system. The house has 4 bedrooms but, the central HVAC unit does not work or supply to every room. We had to bother the PM the first few days to keep change thermostat to 72 degrees as they have a lock on it Even with both supplemental units (floor unit in the living room and mini split in the kids room) set at the lowest settings, all the doors to each bedrooms wide open with all the fans running on high, the house never reached below 77 degrees. After asking the PM the 4th time to change the thermostat, we just stopped asking in general as it became bothersome, as they kept changing the thermostat back to 75 degrees. We are hot natured people and ended up cramming our family into the kids room and living rooms most of the day as it was the coolest spaces in the house. There is also no ventilation or cooling in the queen bedroom so we had to use a small fan to blow air from the dining room into the bedroom to provide some relief. Other than that, the house was okay. It had everything we needed and the pool was a nice treat for our toddlers.

Party of 10-July 2024

Our family had a mostly enjoyable stay at this vacation house. The house itself is nice and offers some great features. The canal outback was a definite highlight, especially for the kids who loved watching the alligators. The large TVs in some rooms were a plus, and my bed was incredibly comfortable. However, we did encounter some challenges during our stay. The temperature control throughout the house was inconsistent, with some rooms being too warm due to lack of air conditioning. We also dealt with an infestation of Palmetto bugs, the pool was cloudy the entire time, the outdoor lighting was insufficient around the pool and patio area, and the sliding doors were also troublesome, as they kept getting stuck. No vacation home is perfect, and while these issues were frustrating, they didn’t ruin our trip. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the house with the hope that these issues will be addressed. these issues will be addressed in the future.

Great Hosts!

They communicate quickly and are very flexible. I suffered a back injury 1-2 days before my trip and they were so understanding that they were able to change the booking to another date. I can't reccomend them enough.

Baseball Tournament

The large home with pool offered plenty of space for our large extended family for our baseball tournament weekend. The home had everything you needed to cook a meal and plenty of extra towels. The garage was stocked with all your beach needs. They were very responsive to a few questions we had at the beginning of our stay, they were just a text away.

Hoop family visit

House and pool were great. TV carrier service was confussing. One door going from a bed room to the pool has a broken lock so the house was not totally secure at any time. we recommend the door be fixed.

Beach escape

First time in Englewood and such a wonderful location without all the crowds of tourists. Beaches are only a 15 minute drive away and they are the best beaches I have ever seen. The house had plenty of room for our family and the kids really enjoyed pool. If they don’t rebuild cover for pool bring bug spray they will eat you alive at night. We saw a alligator swimming in canal one morning (very cool & small) nothing to worry about tiny alligator. Will definitely visit Englewood again.

Coral Tides paradise

We totally enjoyed our vacation at this beautiful place. The house was beautiful and very spacious. For two families ( 4 adults, 1 teenager and three children) was more than enough room for everyone. The owners and the manager of the house are very nice people and easy to communicate with. Ruth, a manager of the property answering text messages in a second, when we texted with any questions. The pool is big and clean. We missed a cage around the pool because we love to stay outside in the evening, but that was not critical, there is the fence around it and kids really enjoyed the pool during the day. Thanks a lot for an amazing time at your place, we will look forward to come back again.

Family vacation

My family (6 adults and 3 children), stayed at this home for 5 nights in mid-July and our review is as follows: PROS: * Very good communication from the owners and property manager. * The home was clean, well-stocked and was in a quiet neighborhood. * The home was within a short drive (5-10 min) of grocery stores and several beaches. * Nice, clean pool with lots of floats and plenty of beach towels (although a couple of the floats had slow leaks and didn’t stay inflated). CONS: * There was just enough bath towels for each person. Would have been nice to have a few extra. * There were no extra blankets or sheets in the home, just the ones on the beds. I moved to the couch one night because I couldn’t sleep and had to use a beach towel to cover up with. * The biggest drawback was the A/C. We paid extra to have the A/C turned down to 72 but the only time it got down to 72 was between the hours of about 2:00–7:00 am. Once the sun came up the temperature in the house began to rise and by around 11:00 the inside temp would hit 80-81 degrees and remain there the rest of the day. It got even hotter if we used the oven. There was a window AC unit in the back bedroom but the cords had been cut so it couldn’t be used. We ended up going to Wal Mart and buying a couple of box fans for the bedrooms. The back part of the house appears to have been an add-on and I think the A/C just isn’t the adequate size to keep the entire home cool. I might add that we are from Texas, where the temps were 103-105 degrees when we left for FL so we are accustomed to the heat - just not inside temps of 80-81 degrees! We did report this to the property manager and she talked to the owners and they refunded the extra payments. I think a small A/C unit in the back part of the home would do wonders I keeping the home cool.

Cozy, quirky home perfect for a family stay in Florida

The first thing I need to comment on is the personal touch I was given. I reached out to the owner with some concerns prior to our arrival. Everything I needed was granted and with a pleasant attitude. The home seems to be new to the rental market. It is an older home that has been recently updated. Extremely clean throughout! I am a picky traveler and I could not find a bit of dirt or insects in this home. The bed in the master bedroom was perfect. All but one of the guest room beds were great. The first guestroom bed was sunken in the middle and very squeaky - I know if I would have mentioned it during the stay it would have been immediately handled but my son was fine enough with it. There were ample amenities to get us started. The pool had not been cleaned prior to our stay, but once I let the manager know she had it handled immediately. It is a nice pool that is more than warm enough without heat in late June. We spent HOURS together as a family in the pool. It was absolutely lovely. We made use of the new washer and dryer nearly everyday because what's a vacation without laundry?! The house is close enough to the beaches (Englewood about 10 mins) to enjoy them daily.

nice vacation

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this home. The beds were high quality and comfortable. The linens were clean and soft. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, cookware, and spices. The pool and the canal made it so we could enjoy the outside and we felt very comfortable going for walks in the neighborhood. Inside the house, there was plenty of room for us to gather. My 7-year-old granddaughter loved the room with the three beds. She said she would sleep in each and every one of them before our vacation was over - and she did. I would recommend this home for your vacation. The owners are managing this home very well. You will be comfortable.
