"We spent 3 nights in the St Ninians flat upstairs. The view across the Clyde was fabulous, possibly better than the downstairs flats. The house is well placed for travelling around the island with bus stops nearby. It was kept very clean and the beds were very comfortable and the heating came on when we needed it. "Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Did not say that all but one double bed were in the same room… so my husband and 24 year old son had to take one room, and sleep in a double bed! And us girls had to take the other one. "This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!"

"De cottage is ruim, sfeervol ingericht en van alles voorzien. Er is geen WiFi of bereik dus alle gelegenheid om tot rust te komen in een prachtige omgeving. Mooie wandelingen gemaakt en veel gelezen. Er liggen overigens ook veel dvd’s in het huisje. Bij de gastheer/gastvrouw kun je terecht voor alle vragen en tips. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad."
