"The building is really old with rickety stairs! BUT our room was really big and airy and clean. Near to the river and nice pubs. Easy to find parking and nice check-in staff. "

"Had a lovely two day stay, the owners were lovely and gave us a lot of help and useful advice. Bedroom was comfortable and clean with a great nights sleep had by both of us. Breakfast hit the spot. Will return the next tine we are in Ross"

"Interesting rambling hotel built into the hillside, resulting in multiple steps up to the bedrooms. Excellent restaurant and friendly and helpful staff. Minor niggles on the plumbing & shower: the cold pipe appear to be bundled with the hot and produces tepid water unless run for a long time - not ideal in a heatwave. The soap dispensers are about head level that make them awkward to operate. A lower location would be better. No basket or shelf in the shower for flannel or own soap or shampoo."

"Small beautifully restored country house hotel. Used as a wedding venue, but they don’t let that get on the way as they prefer for it. Stay and staff were fantastic. Evening food options are limited but plenty of variety available with 5-10 min drive. "
