Very well appointed, well kept charming home in a gorgeous location. So peaceful with beautiful views. Good location near hiking, breweries, and antique shops. We had a wonderful time!

My husband and I loved our stay at this beautiful cabin. We frequently visit the mountains and this cabin provided the perfect balance for a weekend away. It was private without feeling isolated and offered beautiful mountain views without having to actually climb a mountain. We enjoyed hiking by day and the local craft breweries and cideries in the evening. We were able to have a getaway but have the modern conveniences of AC and Wifi. It is rare for my husband to say, "I'd come back" because we seek new experiences but he did after our stay here.

Relaxing and Comfortable

This was a wonderful mountain getaway to relax and recover from the stresses of life. I loved starting the day with a cup of tea sitting on the porch, looking over the field and mountains. Everything, including the kitchen, was very well stocked. We were within a short driving distance of some nice hikes to waterfalls (check out Crabtree Falls). We took advantage of the darker skies to take pictures of the milky way.The owner was very responsive to questions and the wifi was good - just make sure to plan and start your route before you leave the cabin, because there is no cell service once you leave (if the map is loaded on your phone, the gps does continue to work).

Nice Weekend Getaway

My family (husband, 9 year old and 6 year old) stayed over the long Presidents Day weekend to ski at Wintergreen. All in all, everything was great. The property was as advertised, clean and well stocked. The interior was very dated, but definitely had that old cabin feel to it. There were some confusing directions in the listing and I think the time estimate to Wintergreen of 10 minutes may have been to the base of the mountain. There was a ton of rain while we were there and the driveway was a bit muddy so we had to use the 4 wheel drive. After the rain, my daughter and I took a walk around the area, to visit the little stream and saw all kinds of wildlife throughout our stay. The property was wonderfully quiet and the peace and downtime was much needed for our family. A nice place to stay and relax.

Beautiful Cabin!

Charming cabin

Beautiful views. Clean as a whistle. Charming and close to hikes, breweries, etc. Great birdwatching and fireflies that make the field twinkle at night. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Holiday getaway n wine tour

Absolutely charming 🙌 Decorated for Christmas w delightful touches throughout. Fireplace so cozy, views amazing. Perfect location to visit area wineries, Wintergreen Resort, and great places to eat. Highly recommend.

This is our second stay at Three Ridges. Such a well kept property and the view from the front deck is spectacular. It’s also a. Great area with easy access to so many breweries and wineries. Can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing weekend at Three Ridges!

My boyfriend and I were driving home to New Jersey from Tennessee and decided to do a short stop in Virginia for a weekend. We wanted something relaxing and peaceful and we got exactly that! The cabin truly is one of a kind. The views are breathtaking, and the interior decorating is perfect for the cozy cabin feel! Doug and Roxanne were a pleasure to work with. If I recommend you do one thing in the area, take the 20 minute drive to Ravens Roost Overlook…UNBELIEVABLE VIEWS!!! Highly recommend this cabin if you love nature, tranquility, and beautiful scenery!

Return visit

After being here in March, it was an easy choice to return. The home is well-equipped and very comfy. The weather was wonderful and so peaceful. Lots of deer and birds to watch and of course, the beautiful mountains!

Perfection!

Can't say enough glowing things about our stay here. From the impeccable interior to the spectacular views, this hidden gem did not disappoint. Spent a good deal of time on the expansive porch, smelling the sweetness of the sun-baked wood and the freshness of the meadow stretched out ahead. A great place to unwind and enjoy those lucky enough to join you. Bravo!

Beautiful and unique

This was exactly the unique and charming stay we were looking for! Great location to stay and visit Crabtree falls and the three ridges area. The cabin itself is on an idyllic, picturesque meadow and the hand hewn wood working displayed by the cabin construction is amazing. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!

Wonderful Country Cabin

The cabin is just perfect if you want to escape to the country for a quiet retreat. We watched deer and wild turkeys from the porch. There are beautiful views of the mountains. The cabin itself is very comfortable and homey. It could not have been better.

It was a perfect weekend getaway. If anybody is looking to spend a quiet weekend, away in the mountains, surrounded by the forest, this cabin is the perfect place to be. It was an amazing experience. Would love to visit again.

Charming Location

This was our second time staying at Roseland. We enjoy the view and the unique antiques in the cabin. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. The cabin seems remote but is conveniently located to a variety of activities.
