    Welcome to our top apartments with 180 degree lake view in Rorschach - directly on Lake Constance. The apartments impress with their central location directly on the shores of Lake Constance. They are only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and town center. The city of St. Gallen can also be reached in around 15 minutes by train or car. This also makes this location an ideal starting point for a swim in the lake, a stroll through the town or for hiking and cycling tours or hikes in the Alpstein. The apartments offer a fully equipped kitchen with dining table, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, etc. The apartment has a modern standard of furnishing.



    The Space:

    This modern apartment is characterized by its unique location directly on Lake Constance. Enjoy the fantastic view and experience both the sunrise and the sunset. You will be amazed!

    There are two train stations close to the approximately 65m2 2.5-room apartment, which can be reached within 3 and 10 minutes on foot. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, Nespresso coffee machine and its own washing machine and dryer. There is also a steam shower and many other extras.



    The apartments are located in a former hotel. They are stylishly furnished and offer everything you need for a pleasant stay.



    The fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances and all the necessary utensils to prepare meals.



    The apartments have a 43-inch TV - perfect for relaxing evenings after a long day. The bedrooms are equipped with a 160 cm wide bed, which guarantees maximum sleeping comfort.



    For productive work, there is a special notebook workstation that provides a pleasant working environment. Fast and reliable internet is available throughout the apartment with WLAN. The apartment is within walking distance of the town center and the train station. Shopping facilities, bars and restaurants can be reached quickly and easily.



    Guest Access:

    The accommodation is accessible via the staircase and there is no elevator. The apartment is on the mezzanine floor. A parking space belongs to the apartment. This is located directly opposite.



    The key to the apartment is in a key safe next to the letterboxes. For security reasons, you will only receive the access code shortly before check-in.



    The Neighborhood:

    The apartments are located directly on Lake Constance and within walking distance of the town center and train station. The towns of Rorschach and St. Gallen as well as the hiking area of the Alpstein can be reached by train and car in just a few minutes.



    The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with crockery, fridge incl. freezer compartment, dishwasher and oven. There is also a kettle, toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine.



    Getting Around:

    The St.Gallen-Appenzell-Lake Constance region offers a wide variety of attractions and sights for every taste. The cultural metropolis of St.Gallen enchants visitors with its picturesque old town and rich historical heritage. The Abbey District with its baroque cathedral and the world-famous Abbey Library is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of the city.



    The area is still characterized by its textile history. Haute couture, fabrics and lace from St.Gallen are presented on catwalks all over the world. A lively cultural life, a diverse range of congresses and unspoiled nature for hiking, bike tours and excursions into the Rhine Valley or Appenzellerland are what make this beautiful region so appealing.



    The region also offers numerous culinary specialties, such as St. Gallen bratwurst with Bürli or with rösti, Appenzeller Biber and various beers from local breweries.

    The apartment is located between Lake Constance and the Alpstein. It therefore offers a wide range of possibilities. The university town of St. Gallen with its monastery and world-famous abbey library is also just a few minutes away.

    Please note that there are some mosquitoes at the lake in summer. These attract spiders. We make every effort to remove these insects regularly. It is always a balancing act between insects and the use of poison.

Just what we needed

The apartment was just what was required for our stay. It was clean and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen so that we could cook meals when we wanted to. The shower unit has been changed from the one in the picture to a basic shower, but still a very effective shower. The apartment didn’t have air conditioning, so we needed to utilise the fan that was available. Just outside the apartment there is a lot of road works, with digging and moving equipment starting from before 8am each day. This didn’t bother us, as we were getting up early, but you may get disturbed if you are wanting a late start to your day. The view from the apartment looking out over the lake is fabulous. You can sit on the sofa, open the window and enjoy the view without going outside and sitting on one of the street benches. It was very relaxing. And finally, the communication was just right. We received all the info about parking and collecting the key, which aided our arrival (note the car park is across the road and not easy to find due to the road works). We also had a quick response to some queries we had during the stay, which was also very useful. Thank you Raphael and team.
