"We were very nervous about this property because Expedia/VRBO did a horrible job of communicating check in .. instead of telling us to contact the host all they need to stay is that keys would be available. That barge is not pretty from the outside, but amazing and unique . Great beds, view of the harbor, and big shower are just a few of the cool feature. We had ducks and swans passing by our window all evening. The location could not be better, across from two good restaurants and a bar....

"My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. "

"We had a great experience! The view is absolutely stunning. You can watch the sunrise from the porch and the main sitting area. All rooms have a private bathroom except the 2 upstairs share a big bathroom (which works great). We had everything we need! Lorraine is wonderful with her help and communication! "Had an amazing time on Arran, The Mill Barn was a perfect location to explore all around the island with everywhere within east driving distance. The bus from the Mill Barn to Blackwaterfoot was less than 5 min away ideal for going to The Kinloch Hotel for a drink or food.Mill Barn was spacious and everything catered for.Ruth was always in touch and was happy to accommodate check in and check out times which was really helpful. Would definitely venture back to Arran in the future. "
