Freundlicher Gastgeber, der bei Fragen immer schnell antwortete. Die Wohnung war super gelegen, in direkter Nähe des Vatikans. Allerdings sind sowohl das Haus, als auch die Wohnung an sich Sanierungsbedürftig & brauchen dringend mal eine neue Ausstattung. Der Aufenthalt war an sich gut, hatte allerdings nichts mit dem versprochenen Luxus zu tun, der von der Anzeige suggeriert wird.

Excellent location very close to St. Peter's and fantastic places to eat within a block. Metro was 800 meters away and bus stop even closer. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Rome. The owner was great with arranging transportation to and from the airport as well.

Excellent location in Rome near the Vatican, nice neighborhood. This apartment has a lot of space and a working washer and dryer which was exceptional based on other rentals in Italy. Most only have washers. This was very helpful for our extended stay in Italy. The host provided perfect instructions and was responsive, however, the shower head holder was broken and it was difficult to use the shower. We reported this to to the host...another guest had reported the shower issue several weeks before our arrival.

Great location. Great internet with smart tv for streaming. 4 adults and we never had issues with hot water. Unfortunately there was an issue with the cleaning from the previous guests but it was immediately handled. Kitchen is tiny for only 1 person but well stocked. The main bathroom had lots of soap and shampoo. It could use some cosmetic maintenance. There is so much right out your door. Mini markets, restaurants, and a great pickup location for a taxi or uber around the corner. Alberto

Great location. Lots of great restaurants to try! Very close to Vatican. Clean. Would suggest stocking apartment with heavier duty kitchen towels and dish cloths. The sponges under the sink were quite dirty. Also could use more extra toilet paper. The bed pillows were very flat and hard. It would be nice to update them. We had a great stay and enjoyed our time in Rome.

Fantastic experience!

This place has everything you need for a trip to Rome. The location is super close to the Vatican. There are restaurants just around the corner & the metro is just a short walk away. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The window shutters kept the rooms dark & pretty quiet. Took us a minute to get the hang of the keys & the light switches (the hallway one is right outside the door), but those were just an “operator error” issue.Alberto is VERY responsive and helpful! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again!

One of Our Top VRBO Properties Ever!

We’ve traveled around the world to more than 45 countries and Vatican Luxury Home Terrazzo is in the top three! The location is perfect. It is steps away from the Vatican Square and St Peters Basilica. Within a 10 minute walk in any direction you can reach Castle Sant’Angelo, Church of the Holy Spirit if your looking for a close English mass in a 12th century church, and the Ottaviano Metro station where you can connect to just about anywhere in the city by metro, trains or buses. There’s also tons of excellent restaurants, cafes, and small business. The apartment itself is exactly like the pictures and very comfortable for us two couples. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only “itty bitty”inconvenience was learning how to work the keys to the doors, but once you learn the trick it’s fine. Alberto is very responsive to any questions that come up. We would 150% stay here again!

Has so much potential...

Overall, the best thing about this rental is the location. It's situated 5-10 minutes from the Vatican and right off of a main drag rife with restaurants and little shops. Though it's near a somewhat touristy area, the actual street it's located on is relatively quiet for being located in such a large, busy (and amazing) city. Alberto, the owner, was very helpful with questions we had and provided very detailed instructions for checking in which was very appreciated. He even helped us out by booking transportation to and from FCO! As for the rental itself, and as someone who values honest reviews, I must mention some inconsistencies with the listing. The apartment itself is lovely for our family of 4 that stayed for a week. However, we were disappointed to note that "Bedroom 1" contained a permanently pulled-out bed. The headboard (think back of the couch) was horribly dusty, as were the cushions of the couch that were stacked underneath the pull out. The mattress had no cover or protecting layer, and it was stained, as was the comforter. "Bedroom 2" does NOT have a king-sized bed; it is a queen-sized bed. (According to American standards) There are a few light fixtures in the room, including 1 on each side of the bed. Both fixtures had several burned-out bulbs and were very dusty, as was the larger floor lamp fixture in the room. Covered in dust. Neither bathroom as a bidet, as listed. Lots of potential, but missed the mark in important areas such as cleanliness

Un appartamento bello!

Such an elegant and spacious apartment in a great location in the Borgo and a short walk to the wonderful Prati neighborhood with shops and eateries galore. There are numerous excellent restaurants literally steps away, both inexpensive and a bit more. (Including Ristorante Arlù, and the new Maison Arlù two of my new favorite places.) Beautiful apartment steps from the Vatican.

This is a handsome, spacious and well-decorated rental. Our only criticism is that the keys to both the street entrance and the apartment door were difficult. By about the fifth day we were having less trouble, but we found it frustrating before that.

So close to the Vatican

Great little apartment. Within a short walk to the Vatican. Close by are wonderful street restaurants and a mini market. Alberto was fantastic at communicating how to get to the apartment, and how to check in. He even helped arrange a van to the airport. We had a problem with the WiFi and he jumped right in to help. Happy with our stay here.

Absolutely beautiful and homey space. Two excellent bathroom spaces! Everything was clean and spacious. We loved the quiet location within walking distance of the Vatican and across the street from a delicious restaurant. Great communication from the owner. I plan to recommend this Vrbo to any family and friends visiting Rome!
