Stayed for 5 nights in october, family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The area is great, close to Vatican, walking distance from fontana di trevi, many restaurants, bars, shops and two supermarkets.The apartment is very nice, super clean and has all the necessary amenities. Beds are very comfortable.The downsides are that maintenance could be better. The front door to the building has a bad lock so you sometimes need to jiggle the key for a few minutes to get in. The elevator is old and dangerous. Normally we wouldn't use it, but my son was temporarily disabled on crutches. Upon arriving he got stuck in the elevator for 15 minutes which was very stressful and the rest of the days I had to piggyback him upstairs. Using the stairs is not really an issue for healthy individuals, but if you have trouble climbing the stairs for one floor then beware.Other than that the dishwasher does not really clean the dishes, they come out dirty as they came in and with a coat of powdery residue.The washer also doesn't really work. the centrifuge doesn't work at all and the one time I used it, it also did not drain the water, so the kitchen was flooded when I opened the door. Since the floors are wooden I had to do an SOS operation. Eventually our clothes ended up soaking wet and there's no dryer.But what really differentiates between vacation rentals is the quality of the host. This is where Roberta shines. She handled the issue like a champ. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Would book again.

This has been my favorite Vrbo rental ever. Lovely roomy apartment with well appointed bedrooms, baths and kitchen. Easy walking to the Vatican and numerous restaurants. Bus line within the block for all Rome attractions. And an elevator to get your luggage to your door. Our host met us at the curb when we arrived, helped us with our luggage, showed us the appt, gave us directions for our outings and even set up a car for our trip to the airport. Beautiful apartment, lovely host. Couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend.

Rome Retreat

Our stay at this property was absolutely inviting and was giving an authentic Rome experience. The home was clean, cozy and classic Rome. We loved the home decor, bedroom spaces, the kitchen and just the overall floorplan and flow. Roberta was on time, very responsive with communication and efficient with the check-in and out process. The location was supreme. With access to subway and bus line and just a few blocks from St. Peter’s Square and Vatican area was near as well. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Our Escape from the Craziness of a Jubilee Weekend

My family and I appreciated the nice quietness and space allowed when visiting for 3 days in Prati area of Italy. The apartment was perfect for our needs when returning from the craziness which is all of the attractions in downtown Rome. Full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and Disney and Netflix just in case. We also found some really good restaurants and eateries around us, as well as two different markets in walking distance. The Cipro train station is a 15 walk from the apartment, and it does take you all the way to the Spanish Steps, as well as the Roma Termini (aka train station) if you need to go that far. Vatican City is about a 25-30 min walk in the south end of the Prati area. Thank you to Roberta for her hospitality. Yes, it did feel a little out of the way, but you honestly want to get away from the craziness after a full day of walking. Would recommend…

Awesome Property - Awesome Host

Our host Roberta was amazing as was the property. In fact, the property was actually nicer in person than than the pictures in the listing. Location was also incredible as there are plenty of restaurants and a market within an easy walk. We used UBER/itTaxi exclusively and the wait time was typically 5 minutes or less. We highly recommend this property and this host. We will be staying here in the future.

Lovely Rome apartment near Vatican

Our family of four had a lovely time in this apartment. It had all the amenities, comfortable beds and a great location right in front of a bus stop that will take you anywhere you need to be. The coffee shop/gelato spot on the corner was the best cappuccino and gelato we had in our ten days in Italy.

5/5 Five of us stayed at this lovely Rome apartment for 5 days at the end of a three week trip in Italy. Very comfortable and accommodating. Great neighborhood to explore! We especially loved the family run Paciotti Salumeria for meat and cheese, the entirely senza glutine store the Celiachiamo Lab and the excellent wine bar, Enofficina. All nearby. Check-in and check out were very easy and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Five stars and thank you Angelo & Roberta!
