Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre habitation, l'appartement ( dans ancienne maison) est très bien équipé, très propre et calme, ce qui est très appréciable après avoir marché toute la journée et avoir été dans la foule. Il est situé dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Nous avons à notre disposition une petite court arborée privée, très agréable lors de notre séjour avec le beau temps et douceur, nous avons pu déjeuner dehors. Bonne literie, une petite machine à laver le linge très pratique. Nous avions sur place des produits de première nécessité pour le déjeuner, biscottes, café, confiture, thé etc...ce qui est très appréciable sur une courte durée. A quelques mètres du logement, vous trouverez la ligne 75 bus pour vous rendre sur plusieurs sites et où rejoindre métros etc .. très pratique. Des taxis tout proche si vous voulez vous rendre à l'aéroport en direct ( 30 minutes environ pour un prix très raisonnable) idem si vous voulez aller à la gare, les tarifs sont réduits. Vous trouverez des restaurants pour toutes les bourses, de la pizzeria, au restaurants spécialisés dans la cuisine Romaine et restaurant plus raffinés. Une très bonne pâtisserie et glacier, les pâtisseries sont à tomber ! Petites Épiceries non loin de l'appartement et poste, petites boutiques, c'est un quartier calme le soir mais vivant à la fois en journée. Très bonne communication avec Patrizia qui a été très à l'écoute et patiente. Merci pour tout, nous reviendrons si l'occasion se représente.

Wir haben die Wohnung eigentlich nur zum Schlafen benötigt, da wir Rom erkunden wollten. Konnten bei Ankunftzeit unsere Koffer vor Checkin schon abstellen. Vermieterin hat uns per WhatsApp informiert, da z.B. gestreikt wurde. Am letzten Abend hat sie uns problemlos ein Taxi organisiert, da die Öffis zum Flugplatz um die Zeit unmöglich war. Supermarkt in der Nähe. Für und war alles ok.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Rome. Monteverde is our favorite neighborhood, easy access to the center via bus and on foot, wonderful restaurants, markets and stores. The apartment is well appointed and the lovely garden is a respite from the Roman heat in summer. Patrizia is a very welcoming and generous host.

A lovely stay

A really great stay at the apartment, the location was great for being close by to get to bus and Rome centre. Host was very great and gave brilliant instructions and preparation for the trip, welcome pack had loads of great ideas around the area. Lovely suburban area, quiet and lovely to be among Italian people living their everyday lives.

Lovely Garden Apartment

The Gianicolo Garden apartment was a perfect place for our month in Rome-- and Patrizia was the perfect host! She warmly welcomed us on arrival, provided us with plenty of information about the area, and basically made us feel immediately at home. Communicating via text was perfect for scheduling linen changes, arranging for an extra guest-- and updating us when the new pope was picked!The apartment is beautifully decorated and in walking distance to Trastevere and Quattro Venti stations, with a few bus stops nearby. We actually walked to/from everywhere (including Prati, Vatican City, Centro Storico, and the Colosseum) because sometimes it was just as quick as taking the bus! The private garden is gorgeous. The neighborhood gelateria-- La Gourmandise-- is THE BEST. Period. Thank you so much for everything, Patrizia! We had a fantastic month in our temporary Monteverde Vecchio home!

Excellent

Patrizio was very prompt in communicating before our arrival and during our stay. The property had lots of lovely character and a little garden to sit in. She was there to welcome us on our arrival with a welcome gift. The kitchen was stocked for our first and subsequent light breakfasts. There was a welcome book with lots of information to make navigating the area so much easier. I would highly recomment this lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood close to restaurants, shops and transportation.

Trastevere stay

The bedding and towels had such a strong perfume smell it was hard to sleep. Not sure if it’s the laundry detergent or if they were sprayed with something. The smell filled the apartment and was very strong.

Great Stay in Rome

The stay was excellent. The apartment was just as advertised. We spent most of our time out and about but we did enjoy a nightcap in the garden. The bed was comfy and our communication with Patrizia was very prompt.

Comfortable apartment, friendly and helpful hosts

The apartment was lovely, with a well-appointed kitchen and comfortable bedroom. We had access to the back garden, which provided a relaxing retreat. Shopping, restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. Major attractions are reasonably close.

Perfect Stay

This little apartment was ideal. It was on the outskirts of town, but within walking distance of everything. Much quieter than downtown Rome, which was a relief at the end of the day. The garden was lush and enjoyable. Patrizia communicated constantly and gave great pointers and advice. The place had everything we could need. Water was hot, pressure was good, bed was firm, A/C worked well. No complaints and really enjoyed staying there.

Superbe séjour !! Patrizia est très attentionnée. Je suis restée 1 mois, c'était parfait. Le logement est très agréable, fonctionnel. Le jardin est un gros plus. Le quartier est calme tout en étant proche du centre de Rome. Beaucoup de restaurants de qualité à proximité du logement. Possibilité d'aller facilement à trastavere à pieds, beaucoup de bus / tramway pour se déplacer aisément. Je recommande ce logement ! Pauline

Cozy appartment in Monteverde

Our stay in this appartment was amazing! The appartment is well located, in a nice and quiet neighbourhood (Monteverde). It was close to bus stops, some restaurants et shops. It is on top of a hill, so you have a nice view of the city, but quite a lot of stairs if you are planning on walking to/from the historic center. The appartment is nicely decorated, with natural light and all the equipment you need! There is also a nice little garden. The host is wonderful and so nice! The instructions were clear, communications were easy and the host was so lovely. It really felt like home. We highly recommand this appartment if you want to stay in a fully equipped appartment in a less busy neighbourhood, but still close to all the main attractions!

Great host

The host, Patrizia was very welcoming, and treated us like neighbors. The property is located in the Monteverde neighborhood, adjacent to Trastevere, outside the hubub of downtown Rome, which avoids the tourist trap feeling. Its also QUIET. You'll feel like a local, in no time. There's also a beautiful park close by. Best of all, the bus stop is just a one minute walk, giving you complete access to the whole city. We used Google maps to navigate the bus routes and city. Don't show up in Rome, without an international cell plan, you will regret it. Study the ATAC bus website on how to use the tap and go credit card system. One different card, for each person. We didnt use the paper tickets. Once you get the bus down, I'm sure you'll enjoy the location, as much as we did. In addition, pizzarias, restaurants, and grocery stores, in walking distance.

Toujours parfait !

GIANICOLO GARDEN

What an absolutely wonderful place, my wife and I used this location in Rome as a base for our two-week stay in country. Patrizia was a wonderful host and went above and beyond what we expected. She assisted in our getting our airport ride rescheduled due to flight delays and provided us with not only a list of places to eat due to our late arrival, but she also provided us with a welcome gift in case we didn't feel like going out to dinner that night. We truly enjoyed our time there and have already recommended it as a place for friends of ours. 5 - star indeed.

Freundlich,still, erholsam.

Wir haben vier Wochen hier verbracht. Ein guter Ort für einen so langen Aufenthalt. Aus dem Lärm der Stadt in die Ruhe dieses Viertels. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fürs Tägliche und gute Restaurants um die Ecke. Patrizia war sehr um unser Wohl besorgt u d zugleich diskret. Wir werden gern einmal wiederkommen.

Gianicolo Garden Delight!

The apartment is a charming one bedroom flat a short flight up from the street. There is a gated entrance to a tiled courtyard with access to a garden patio in the rear. The flat is equipped with DeLonghi espresso machine and washing machine. Part of the charm of the flat is its unusual bathroom. My wife and I laughed as we showered the long hot Roman days away in the tri-level bagno. We loved the neighborhood. It is a true Roman residential neighborhood above Trastevere and adjacent to Monteverde! Highly recommended!

Charming Rental in Rome

We stayed in this beautiful rental for about 5 days. It is nestled in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. When we arrived, it was warm and everything in the garden and around the house was blooming. The apartment itself was charming, clean and full of amenities. We cooked ourself a dinner one night and enjoyed it in the beautiful back garden area. Though it’s a bit of a walk from central Rome, it is very close to Trastevere center. We preferred exploring this area because it was less crowded and very charming. However, public transit can easily be accessed from here. The host, Patrizia, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She left a small welcome gift, helped us in paying the taxi when we arrived after the card machine stopped working, and provided us with lots of restaurant recommendations. She was very communicative, kind and welcoming. We are so grateful to have stayed in this beautiful rental. Thank you so much, Patrizia!
