This place was PERFECT for our kid-free getaway! The location is amazing, in a quiet part of Trastevere only a few minutes from everything. Easy walk to the bridge to the center of town, and short walk to amazing bars and restaurants. Alessio gave us great recommendations for dinner and shopping, including a market in a part of town I had never explored on prior trips. The apartment was very clean and he thought of everything with extra towels, a comfortable bed, clothes washing machine, dishes and a spacious fridge. The upstairs loft bedroom was perfect and the outside terrace was beautiful. It even has a view of St. Peter’s Basilica. The stairs to the fourth floor kept us in shape, but were not terrible. And he was immediately responsive to messages and anything we needed. An amazing place in an amazing location and somewhere we would definitely return to.

Excellent location and excellent host! The terrace is absolutely lovely. The restaurant directly downstairs has the best meatballs ever! Everything is walkable as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent host - Alessio was very helpful in communicating how to get to the apartment and then meeting us there to let us in and how all things worked. We enjoyed the apartment and the location. It was our third time in Rome and we had an excellent stay!

Alessio is a fantastic host. Provided us with a list of nearby restaurants and was always available (altho we never needed anything). Also arranged a taxi to the airport when we left. Room is in a fantastic part of town, very quiet but not remote. There are indeed 75 steps up to the room (Alessio kindly carried my very heavy bag up for me) but def doable. Only downside for us was that the bed was quite hard and overall the room was a bit too small; we were on a month-long trip so had a lot of luggage and no where to really unpack it so our open suitcases took up much of the kitchen/sitting area.

Fabulous stay in Rome. Loved the terrace which was full of lovely flowers and bushes. Suited us but be mindful if you are very tall. Some low ceilings.

Vi havde et dejligt ophold i Rom, og vores vært Alessio gjorde alt for at vi ikke bare følte os som almindelige lejere, men som hans personlige gæster. Tagterrassen er fantastisk, men var lige lovlig varm under vores ophold i et stegende hedt (op til 39 grader) Rom.

Rome beauty

Lots of steps up to this beauty, but its really not that bad, and our host Alessio helped us haul our luggage up as he met us and explained how it all worked sent us plenty of info on where to shop and eat ! !It is in a perfect location easy access to everything! Would stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful, the Terrace is Amazing

The property was amazing and at the perfect place in the historic district. A easily walkable distance to all major sites with plenty of local charm in the neighborhood. The Host was very kind, punctual, and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome.

This VRBO was truly one of the best accommodations I’ve ever experienced in Rome!Highlights:•The host was incredibly welcoming and even helped carry our luggage up to the unit—much appreciated since it’s a third-floor walk-up.•As someone who travels frequently, I can confidently say the bed and pillows rival (and even surpass) those of many 5-star hotels.•The terrace is absolutely stunning—imagine sipping a glass of wine with the rooftops of Rome as your backdrop.•Impeccably clean throughout.•While compact, the kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need.•The shower has excellent water pressure—a rare find in European rentals.•The air conditioning works almost too well (a blessing during summer in Rome).•Generously sized towels, which is always a pleasant surprise.Only Downside:•I’m no longer staying there!Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Rome—it’s a gem

Lovely terrace in a great part of the city

Alessio is a great host and met us at the property with a bottle of Prosecco! The apartment is well positioned and we were able to walk everywhere.There is everything you need at the property including a washing machine, hairdryer and gas barbecue. Not suitable for very tall people and as a penthouse there are many stairs. But we had a great time and recommend it highly.

Rome Patio Apartment.

Excellent location near the heart of Trastevere. Easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Patio a delightful refuge after a full day of sightseeing. This is a penthouse unit. Only drawback is lack of elevator.

Calm and charming

Alessio’s penthouse apartment was adorable. We were on a very quick trip but the apartment was clean and had all the amenities needed. Alessio was kind, responsive, and very accommodating. The terrace was beautiful. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The restaurant reccomendations were great and we felt very welcome.

Allessio Penthouse Apartment is Great!

We loved our stay at Alessio's apartment - the location is absolutely perfect - so comfortable and convenient to everything in Rome. The apartment is small but perfect for two, very clean, comfortable bed and shower. The BEST is the penthouse area with a view - we would have coffee up there and drink wine at night and enjoy the outdoor view. Alessio is really helpful the entire time. You cannot find a better location for exploring Rome - the neighborhood is lively, warm, full of lovely shops and restaurants. Taxis close by. We really loved our stay at this apartment and will recommend to family and friends.

Sweet apartment, amazing location

We had a great week in Alessio’s apartment in Trastevere. He gave us a great orientation to the property and we knew we would be well cared for if we needed anything. It was great to be able to control the thermostat directly. The location was amazing - great area, lots of good places to eat nearby and just a short walk into the heart of Rome.

Alessio was a wonderful host and the accommodations were perfect! I would highly highly recommend staying here. Alessio made check in so easy, was full of information and the property was delightful! The location is perfect and it was easy to get to many attractions. The surrounding area is full of great restaurants and shops. I would strongly recommend to friends and family and would not hesitate to stay with Alessio again on our next trip to Rome!

Amazing!

I highly recommend this property. My wife and I were able to walk to everything within 30 minutes for tours and historical building. Great food and shops just minutes away. And of course the roof sitting area was awesome.

Wonderful place to stay in Rome

We stayed for 6 nights, I would highly recommend Alessio's place. Perfect size apartment for 2, very convenient and thoughtfully stocked including minor details like shopping bags and umbrellas. All was clean, beds are comfortable, all was working properly. Enough compliments were said already about the location and I agree 100 percent, it's close to all the attractions yet is on the charming street and away from the tourist noise. The owner is nice, polite, responsive and helpful. Thank you very much, Alessio!
